Next from legal prospective, its in Delhi, the legal hub, exposure that anyone get in Delhi are best. There is supreme court, High Court and many other Head offices of Government. You can do internship very easily.
One more point, NFSU is whole universe with many other branches than Law, so you will knowledge of many other fields and learn their thinking prospective also. So multidisciplinary University
Oh, and no, NALSAR is not better than NLUD. The place barely has any decent faculty left and survives purely on its brand than actual improvements. And now they seem more committed their management programs than law.
So the real ranking is - NLS>NLUD>NALSAR>NUJS>NLUJ>GNLU>NLIU
If you are really interested, look for firms and chambers in the port cities.
If money is not an issue, there are numerous llms and courses abroad which deal with this specific subject matter.
If scoring an internship is your goal, you can do the NLUO IMAM moot which generally gives an internship to its winners and best speaker.
If you want to better understand and learn,
You should check out Chambers of George Rebello.
How is the work culture? Partners?
Any info will be helpful
Vinu is an absolute gem. Heard his team has a positive environment too.
AZB, SAM, KCo(Exits), Trilegal(Mass Entry), IndusLaw, CAM, L&L(Mass Exit, visionary passes away), Saraf (Bad Politics), JSA (Management issues)
Yet HNLU students went on to protest and Chancellor came into the picture.
NLUO should also protest against Prof Ved Kumari and the appointment of Dr Rangin as Registrar.
I think the answer is that you are probably from a good NLU and got hired on Day zero due to your credentials.
So many students who have actually done Cap Marks work, are knowledgable, and might be interested in the field don't get the opportunity because law firms in India are too lazy to actually evaluate talents and train them. It's actually their loss because they lose out on all these talents that exist outside the top few NLUs. It is not your fault at all, just so we are clear. We are just a part of a broken system. The law firms are to be blamed for their biased, lazy recruitment. India has lots of sharp legal minds who don't get access to the best opportunities in order to polish themselves and shine.
As for doing capital markets work, you should just switch to an M&A team in the firm. They will teach you the cap marks work anyway, incase you can't switch. It's dull and boring.
1. Did you apply through the placecom of your college?
2. If the answer to (1) is No, how long did KC take to respond and how did you manage to catch her attention. (I honestly believe she is blind, like most HRs but even so)
Reasons:-
1. Tier 1 Firms do not retain 3rd year interns, unless through the placement committee or contacts, where HR application is not the way to go anyway.
2. Teir(sic) 1 Firms place a lot of emphasis on stellar English speaking and writing (most important, non negotiable). With the spelling errors you made in this short post, no law office will even consider forwarding the mail to the concerned recruiter.
3. Tier 1 Firms put a lot of emphasis on the college, which you have not mentioned. The HR usually have too many applications to even respond asking for the name (some do occasionally if everything else is stellar). Understand the numbers- there is usually just ONE HR MEMBER who deals with 1000 applications every few hours, and the backlog of the weekends where most students send in applications. Be thankful, some HRs actually don't just shortlist based on ranks.

Folks , here ‘passed all exams in first attempt means by securing at least 70% marks in aggregate’ suggests that you don’t fail any exam in your bachelors and you get 70% in UG, it does not suggest any other entrance exam. So chill. Everyone gets 70% in UG bachelors as GPA. If someone isn’t getting that , then you are only outstanding anyway
2. Naukri.com, Lawctoups, Indeed, Internshala, YLCC, Bar&Bench/Live Law, LinkedIn (especially Delhi HC Bar Association page) for law firms or chamber jobs
Those making allegations of fake data, what proof do you have? Also, I hope you realise that rankings don't just look at salaries but other criteria too, such as faculty research, infrastructure etc. Talk about that first.
So what's going on? Do people have a change of heart and become right-wing? Or were they just fake and pretending to be leftists all along? Maybe to seem intellectual and impress girls?
we are paid jack. Of course, we do not make our living out of this
Any leads will be much appreciated

The ratio of students placed above 16LPA, is far better at NLUJ.
Everyone in funds team leaves by 8.
Non-toxic work culture. Everyone is helpful.
Informal groups are well knit and friendly.
I've been doing the usual of trying to read one case a day cover to cover BUT BOY DO I STRUGGLE.
Law school was 2 years in covid and I feel like I've been thrown into the deep end.
I start 4th year next year and it hit me last year that the world is not ending so I might as well start doing something.
Bachche bhi nepo and privileged
Both will go for law.
1.CURRICULUM (My biggest Concern, I want to have a balanced life of academics and college life): It's less hectic, more student friendly and approachable(students can choose design their own course by choosing their own subjects) than NLSIU Bangalore bcs it doesn't have the trimester system(I have heard it gets a lot hectic, exhaustive and mundane over time) which NLSIU Bangalore has.
2.PLACEMENT (Major concern): I know both these colleges have good corporate placements when compared domestically but when I calculated the last 7 year Avg package of the both thru NIRF Report NALSAR has an Avg 15.35 lakh and NLSIU has 14.6 lakh , also NALSAR has an higher placement and students going for higher studies ratio compared to NLSIU (Calculated via NIRF Reports) and even internationally NALSAR Hyderabad has 6-7 foreign placements per batch where as NLSIU Bangalore has 3-4.
3.CAMPUS SIZE :55 acre vs 23 acre.I have no problem regarding the fact that NALSAR Hyderabad is 50km from the main city.
LATEST 5 YEAR FEES: 12 lakh vs 16 Lakh. Money isn't a big concern here but it is better to save some and put it somewhere else.
From what I have heard about NLSIU Bangalore is that there is too much academic pressure due to which social life gets hampered a lot, increased batch size has diluted the level of professors as well as they have not yet built hostels(in construction)for the increased batch size for the people coming thru NLSAT as well as the latest 2020 VC crisis where they had protested and made the VC Resign.
Despite all of this NLSIU Bangalore is still on 1st position in college rankings and my teachers in coaching are advising to put NLSIu Bangalore at 1st and NALSAR at 2nd. This is the main reason why I am hesitant in putting NALSAR Hyderabad over NLSIU Bangalore.
I also want to add one thing since I am Obc.I have more chances of getting into NALSAR Hyderabad than NLSIU Bangalore based on the ranks required for NLSIU(171-923, 1&2nd merit 2023) & NALSAR(923-1116, 1st merit list 2023)
So, my fellow seniors studying in these colleges please guide me as to what my decision should be based on the info I provided above.
Tldr: Putting NALSAR at 1st preference for CLAT due to less hectic curriculum, bigger campus size, less fees and better domestic and international placements but everyone (teachers of coaching, mentors on YT) is saying that say NLSIU is older and on the 1st position so put it on the 1st preference. Totaly confused, pls help.
2. Cook - 2K
3. Electricity - 2.5 k (max)
4. Food/ Groceries - 4k
5. Cleaning Lady - 1.5 K
6. Gym - 2.5 k/m (max)
I know one of my batchmates from Calcutta who was so homesick at Nalsar that he decided to sit for Nujs again. Now why am I telling you this? So that you don’t beat yourself up if you don’t get nalsar. Because already you are in the big league and Nujs is so effing good. It may have a small campus but the placements are bloody amazing! Sometimes even the best lol. So follow your passion , stick to nujs , retake clat and come to my college :). But don’t beat yourself up for it. Remember you have the world’s best backup and you have already won the battle. We have a great alumni base and we will do everything to help you out.
However , a word of caution - tread carefully. Remember with the pattern change , the paper will be more arbitrary (in terms of quality) and will challenge you every sec. But since you have already made into Nujs , savour the success and use your experience to crack it this year. All the best! Looking forward to meet you at nalsar next summer ❤️
