Hi fellow clat retaker here. Until today (along with my own independent research) I thought hnlu Raipur is better than mnlu Mumbai. But today Legaledgeโs preference for clat takers (which is barely 5 months away) has kept mnlu Mumbai above hnlu raipur. The coaching is in the business for a long time and infact many people have made decisions based on this list. Will it be reliable enough?
Placement wise, Raipur is still ahead of Mumbai. Same for alumni base. Location wise Mumbai is ahead of course. Faculty-wise Mumbai may have a very slight edge with their new hires.
Absolute bollocks of a list. HNLU should be in 7th followed by NLUO and RMNLU. This is going by recent placement list, college objectives. If you have other goals other than corp then you can keep RMNLU above NLUO but in no way will MNLU come over these colleges. They have proved nothing neither have they showcased any growth nor potential for them to claim such a high ranking. Always go into the established colleges with a stable administration and alumni. Also, be aware of recent growth.
MNLU has been giving good placements and Legaledge is a trusted platform founded by a NLIU Bhopal alum. So donโt be worried and just fill it as per their preference!
Mnlu does not have zero day placements yet, and students are hired only via PPOs. Considering that the same is clouded in certainty and depends upon a number of uncontrollable factors, chances of being hired might just be a grim. I heard that HNLU has great recently; the outgoing batch of 2023 had some 50 jobs, and the current batch has a decent number of PPOs from Tier 1s. You may look up at their RCC's LinkedIn profile for the stats. Thus, would rank HNLU over mnlu. Take an informed decision, best of luck!
For context they have kept the list as :-
7. Mumbai
8. Raipur
9. Lucknow
10. Odisha
11. Patiala
12. Kochi
Is this order correct?
