We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.

2) Feel free to have your assumptions, I'm looking for advice
KCO Mumbai I tried but did not work out. Applied again through my college placement cell, not sure if it'd go through.
I have applications pending at IndusLaw Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai offices.
this is true and verified.
Before you keep vomiting this one line “law is not a creative field blah blah blah” please go read the judgements where the Supreme Court has evolved our fundamental rights. Is that not creativity?
Hahahahaha
Hahahahahahaha
Hahahahahahahahahaha
Priceless - I really wanna see the noojies react to this
Please give serious answers. Chambers, Law firms that give stipend and the experience is also good (Possibility of PPO).

NISM material is good but lengthy.
If you want to focus on specific area under securities law, read the law from regulations itself, it's not that tough.
1. SAM Mumbai is known to offer callbacks over callbacks and making offers at the end of 5th year/ mid 5th year, which again may or may not happen.
2. CAM Noida is very stringent with PPOs and doesnt usually hire (in this season, dont see them offering at all)
3. KCo Kolkata does NOT hire, shift to Mumbai ASAP
4. Online internships at a tier 3/4 is equal to none, they aint giving you work at all, assessing you tu dur ki baat hai
5. ICUL Funds- very stingy in PPO department
6. Singhania- pay too low, too many interns
In most cases more rich
One thing I can guarantee about Jindal is that the opportunities are endless but it's all about what you seek to achieve at law school. Jindal offers electives that are far better than any other law school in the country. Our faculty is known to be the best. Our placements are of course not great when you consider the entire batch strength but its necessary to note that not everyone joins Jindal to secure a job in law, a lot of students just need degrees to carry on their family businesses. While a lot has been said about distractions and ROI, I truly believe that you can do well at Jindal but that would probably be true about any law school. All of it boils down to your efforts.
All-in-all, if you need to take out a 30L loan, then avoid enrolment, you can succeed at other colleges like Symbi & Christ. All the best!
Law ghatiya profession rahega
Gen Z should aim for MBA or UPSC unless radical changes happen like entry of foreign law firms, creation of an Indian judicial service and fair pay to junior our advocates doing court practices.
In fact it gets tremendously challenging , when you are yourself well-built but your crush is hanging out with someone much much more intelligent than I, myself ever will be.

Lala and Lala LLP were and continue to remain top tyre.
Mama and Co., Tridev and Kheti and Co. trying hard.
Permit e-filing in all High Courts for all kinds of matters. Everything should become computer based - filing and refiling of all pleadings including additional documents, scrutiny, registration, verification etc. There must be a real time update on the website. Helpline numbers must be made available.
Every court must publish links in their Cause List. Every District Court must have a e-seva kendra where there will be trained staff that can assist in filing cases and other pleadings.
This way, not only will SC be accessible to all, but all courts will be accessible to everyone. Not only will a lawyer from Kerala , Arunachal, Gujarat, Jammu be able to practice in SC, but lawyers in Delhi can also practice in all these High Courts.
Why is there a need for circuit bench when we can and we must have e-courts accessible from everywhere?
The problem is - everyone wants Supreme Court in their state, but nobody wants their HC to have benches or even video conferencing. During covid, lawyers from Delhi had a field day as they appeared almost everywhere. Because of Covid, most top SC lawyers are now regularly appearing across forums all over India. It should continue.
The experience was terrible, as the MP's brother, who was not even a lawyer, but just some admin grunt, involved all the interns in a file-reorganization project. The only expectation and work that was given to interns were to come, pull out dusty files from cabinets and categorize them. For a whole month.
Apart from that, the range of work that they do and their clientele is great. Certainly puts them in the T1 bracket for B&F in my books.
Cant particularly comment on LL

Apart from these, I have a callback from a T1 (can't disclose). Owing to time and holiday constraints, I can do only three more offline internships (MAX 4) before Day Z. I've also applied to more T1s. Can anyone help me out? In a very bad situation and can't figure out where to actually intern
I was surprised and upset by the cheap remark especially because this firm is supposedly India's most sought-after IP firm with top clients.
What's the worst internship experience you've had?
