1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

I wish to go for career in academia. Considering the remaining six months, how best those can be utilized keeping this goal in mind.
Are there Professors who could accept my applications for online assistant research positions and which I can use to streamline my experience along with publications in a particular specialization? Or should I consider going for litigation based experience? What are other options?
So, I also gave CLAT PG yesterday, and had prepared extensively for it.
But, to my utter shock, I was literally stunned to see the ppr, literally STUNNED. Even the JEE Mains ppr was easier to score, not even joking. The Consortium gave such useless, irrelevant Qs that even knowing the answers to those Qs was so v redundant. They gave 24 Paras to solve in 2 hrs, instead of the usual 12. The Qs were too complicated and it essentially became a guessing game where the ppl who got the more no of guesses right would score more marks.
It was basically a ppr which only a utterly dejected person(s) could make, who would derive sadistic pleasure by seeing the pain of the students. The Q ppr makers gave Qs which were even more difficult than the DJS Q ppr. And all of this was unexpected.
And to all those who r saying that if was difficult for everyone, they have missed the entire point of the thread.
I am curious how do u know so much about the CA course content. I got to know because I purchased the books. Wbu ?
Other cities of MP would work equally.

Thinking about enrolling just so that I can add Advocate sticker to the front and back of my car, and get immunity from police checking.
That is disgusting, sorry to hear.
But I don't know why cleaning the cloth SHE has spilled coffee upon is either derogatory or problematic.
Yet, it's absolutely bs what you were made to do. To those saying it's deserved don't get the implications of the actions of the associate. This act is not a mere 'clean after yourself' etiquette lesson, but a plain egotistical and sadistic move.
Hope the news reaches the higher authorities who see the bs for it is and do something. Stay strong
CA is and will always be superior to LLB. But its also 10 times more tougher.
Just to put things in context, the corporate law exam in CA-IPCC covers the companies act, indian contract act, negotiable instrument act, general clauses act, interpretation of statues. All of this is ONE SINGLE EXAM. You will study these acts as different exams in multiple semestees during the course of your LLB.
In short, CA is way more superior.

Are you sure you are interning at a lawfirm and not some English cafe?
It's actually good that they have increased the difficulty level. Only serious and good candidates should get in and not some random grad with a 2month long prep.
Students from LLB/LLM course don't get placed, look at Symbiosis and other colleges that have 5year as well as 3 year courses.
Sudhir came up with this 3year LLB shit cuz he needed money for funding the infra development without compromising on the quality.
Seriously? How many times did we email about it?
Nobody reads
Or that you all just want to whine and are snowflakes to deal with real life?
Too much work is toxic? Lol
Can someone give an insight as to the selection process, when I can expect a call for an interview?
Ps:- CS, LLB & 2 years experience in IDT
Delhi - Hindi, Kolkata - Bengali and Hindi, Bangalore - Kannada, Chennai - tamil likewise
A personal recommendation: Anagh of crewt consulting is the best guy in recruitment. Bharagava sisters, legalleague etc., are total sham.
Guess who nominates such corrupt judges?
Top Law Firms and Counsels. The system's rot is the half baked counsel trying to pass off as an arbitration counsel. They even take a cut from the proceeds that go to the arbitrators.
Do you know why judges are easy to appoint. They are used to taking a bribe from the corrupt counsels when they were judges. Hence the reliance on judges.
Try being honest in arbitration. You will be staring into an abyss

You are the best!!
In terms of placement, foreign placement, international moot court competition

I do have interest both of this field and would like to peruse any of the two.

Travel to any village in any state to witness how caste hierarchy prevails and functions
Should we start a petition for re-exam or giving 2 tries to students just like JEE does and better rank be taken?
Just make sure that you don't spend more than 20-25 minutes on it since work is at climax at evening
Khaitan, LKS, ELP, SAM Delhi (Mumbai only had 1 partner, who has left and joined another firm), NDA, Trilegal. All these firms have good direct tax practice wherein you should get a healthy mix of international and national direct tax work.
Judges actually look forward to retirement to make themselves useful to the market - and charge exorbitantly from companies
No idea, on the last question.
Present VP of India, has also made some bold remarks in the past. Latest would be his remark over arbitration space being dominated by Retd Justices of Constitutional Courts.

im an A0 (new joinee) at a t1, just been a few weeks.
can i ask for a 5 day leave now?
how much time should i give as a buffer?
is it even possible?
What exactly is the course of action we should take in such situations? It is easy to say, "just leave the internship", but that is simply not practical. Top-tier internships are crucial for not only bolstering our CVs, but also to learn. Firms can always find people to replace us. Thus, we are left powerless against wanton abuse.

I mean 16-17 lpa at 28-29 seems decent tp me with work life balance.
Any idea how much do 15+ PQE at a boutique of small firm would make ?

We need such a BA course at NLUs instead of the current boring crap. Speaking here not just as a lifelong Swiftie, but also because Tay Tay is genuinely more relevant than a dead fossil like Marx. She has a zillion more followers and spreads a message of love and inclusiveness. In contrast, Marx inspired autocratic regimes and was also a toxic and racist man (called his daughter's black husband the N word and compared him to a gorilla).
