We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.

All this confusion wouldn't have happened had the SJA ensured (like its predecessors) had ensured that all EC etc records were made available online by the university/VC.

You may seek leave to withdraw the vakalatnama, that's alright. But withdrawing the petition when the client hasn't told you to? Unbecoming conduct.
But, Iβm pretty sure that if youβre focused and you balance your academics, co-curriculars and internships well; you will be able to excel.
However, if you can drop one year or join a college like DU (based on test), SLS (test + high cost), etc- then go for that. If dropping for a year is a high cost, then go for Nirma. Not a bad option (but donβt keep it your first option; if you have others)

In 2018, the Commission analysed the data of 1.3 lakh central jobs given under OBC quota over the preceding five years.
It also analysed OBC admissions to central higher education institutions, including universities, IITs, NITs, IIMs and AIIMS, over the preceding three years.
The findings were:
97% of all jobs and educational seats have gone to just 25% of all sub-castes classified as OBCs.
24.95% of these jobs and seats have gone to just 10 OBC communities(just 10 caste taking 25 percentage). These 10 castes wont account more than 3-4 percentage of the whole OBC population.
983 OBC communities (37% of the total) have zero representation in jobs and educational institutions(nill). Caste like Mallaha( caste who catches fish) have nill reservation.
994 OBC sub-castes have a total representation of only 2.68% in recruitment and admissions.
So, I will reluctantly vote for Modi because I know the alternative is worse.
Similar commission should be established for SC/ST. Only a specific tribal caste from Rajasthan is getting all central posting and premier institution, kabhi kabhi lagta hai Rajasthan ko chorke India me or kanhi tribal bhai log hai hi nhi india me. RESERVATION IS REPRESENTATION BUT WHERE IS REPRESENTATION OF OTHER TRIBAL GROUP FROM ALL OVER INDIA IN CENTRAL SERVICES AND COLLEGES. Does tribal population exists only in Rajasthan, so many tribal from other states get ignored and get nill representation.
Take SC for example Valmiki, and many other weak schedule caste are not taking benefit of reservation as much. Lion's share are cornered by dominant SC castes.
Hence need of the hour is division of SC/ST/OBC quota so more vulnerable castes can get adequate representation. But certain dominant caste groups are holding the system hostage and dont want to give up their blanket privileges for more vulnerable section of SC/ST and OBC.
Weak member of dalit communities are oppressed even by their follow dalit brethren. Lets take Matang for example, mahar( Caste to which Hon'ble Dr. Ambedkar belonged) used stop procession of mahar youth Barat on horse, there are many atrocities committed upon them by dominant caste SC groups, just see matang scholar writings.
Thats why you have Matang who are Kattar Ram Bhakt. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1751442951136596208.
May shree Ram bless them with ample wealths.
Coming to the question where is representation of weak SC castes like Charmkars, Khatik, Valmiki. Ya unhe bs Dalit ekta ka churan chatvana hai taaki rich and affluent dominant caste SCs take all of their reservation.
Hence need for sub quota among SC/ST too. Priveleged SC
I had to take a job after llb because of family money problems. Now I have a saving of around 10 lakhs. I am unmarried. I can sit at my home in jaipur and study.
My dream is to prepare for rajasthan judicial services exam. Age limit is 40.
Please don't joke or troll me. Any help is very much appreciated.
1. Am I too late to prepare for exam.
2. I complete forgot LLB subject over the past 4 years. I haven't touched a single civil or criminal law subject. I was only looking at IT commercial contracts.
Is it possible to learn everything to a level where I can Crack the exam.
I can spend upto 2 year's trying out my luck in the judicial services exam. I will also write judicial exams of other states.
3. Is it worth the risks? Is it possible.
Are there people who start as late as myself
If this is your client, your filing counsel should ideally be on your side and refuse to get the case listed till payment has been made.
Itna drama kyu krna .
PS I would advice you not leave or home or do any kind of drama stated by others you just need a conversation with your parents.
Cannot get a better mix of better work culture and top deals.
Do not underestimate just how expensive it is to barely stay afloat, even if all your expenses are stripped down to pure basic necessities.
One does not often realise how expensive stuff is, when living with family.
Just as a disclaimer, I am in no way suggesting that you just pack up your belongings and leave. Your parents are in picture, they might have different life views than you, but it probably doesn't mean that they dislike you
The reason I focus on finances in the first paragraph is for you to be able to take a stand for yourself, without being pressurised owing to lack of immediately and exclusively available funds.
Never marry under pressure. It ruins more than one life.
Pay, work culture, internship and ppo policies etc.
Please let me know I've been wanting to switch
In the 2-10cr range, you will find another 10-15 seniors. Non-designated counsel in (mid-30s to mid-40s age bracket) doing really well can be in the 1-5cr range. These again will be no more than 15-20 individuals.
All in all, I doubt more than 50 senior / non-senior but specialist counsel in the country specialising in tax make more than 1 cr annually. Those who do - sky is the limit. But very niche and tough field to break into.
(And there may be some top law firm partners specialising in tax who are in the 5-25 cr bracket too)
(1)MHCET Law - Maharashtra
(2)RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) - Rajasthan
(3)KLEE (Kerala Law Entrance Exam) - Kerala
Some things are important. All the best.
Next is SAM, probably 700-800 lawyers.
Next Trilegal, AZB, etc all less than 500.
a) 0 hours (no read)
b) 3 hours
c) 4 hours
d) 2 hours
I had a CLAT Coaching Mentor who is a part of an institute with a tagline "Trusted for success" saying 2 hours must be your ideal prep time daily for CLAT which includes newspaper reading, taking news notes, to solving mocks, to doing everything sec tests...xyz, (How is it possible in 2 hours, or was the teacher misleading me? )
The litigation side of this profession seemingly has way too many elephants in the room - which nobody addresses, and it's concerning.
You can't be somebody in litigation without someone seriously backing you.
