The main reason is to expand your social circle to have people besides legal professionals.
A litigating Advocate needs to create multiple sources from where s/he can get clients. Joining a political party wing is one way of doing it.
Not all who join such circles end up tapping it to the fullest. A few do, we see them in positions of significance as you describe.
I’ve worked with Awasthi across the table. He yelled at his junior during a meeting in full view of this and everyone else’s clients. Abhorrent behaviour and there was a lot of “sir” usage from his team.
2.You can please start reading bare Acts and standard textbooks for preparation
3. Try preparing during weekends and on other days revise the same
4. Don't loose hope because of your Age.
And Orry knows shit. He is intelligent. He knows what stuff to say to create controversy, and also backs it up later (with his doppelgangers).
The objective of degrees & college education is to increase your chances of Success. Still it is a chance. For every IIT grad's startup burning millions, there will be a calm college dropout Nikhil Kamath minting pure 2000+ crore profit. That doesn't mean you will succeed by dropping out.
With the changing time and scenerio, the life of marriage has significant reduced from ,"Janam Janam ka saath,' to hardly 8 years , or to maximum 12 years.
Hence, considering the circumstances, I believe you are still better, as only those are happy, who are either happily married or those who are absolutely single.

Came from a lower middle class family, super tight budgets, months where even affording a rickshaw was luxury. Just feels good to be able to take a cab everywhere. Just for the sake of it.
And mostly because money without time is fine, not going to stick here for the long game. Going to transition to a lesser demanding area after all childhood dreams and ego is healed.
Kco has weird luck based ppo policy
Trilegal super choosy when it comes to colleges
SAM and CAM are the only places where t2/t3 nlu peeps can smoothly join.
This is an interview given by Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan to Piers Morgan. Heartbreaking...
Let's discuss this.
Figure out the cause of the same and talk to someone in the system you trust. They may give you some good advise on how to navigate the system to avoid feeling stressed. If the work quantity is an issue - take to your senior/ partner, and don't take "We worked 2x of what you do" as an answer.
Most of these things can be managed if ppl (above you) want to. Raise the issue - see if issues get resolved. Think about moving on if they don't. Shifting without trying could be bad for your mental health and for confidence both, keeping aside any regrets you may have later. Moving on eldo may not help with getting rid of this feeling. Different place, same feeling :)
Relax - it's usual to feel this way.
Btw why is it uncontested!!? Legally india??
Since when Rohini commission's report is contested? This is Modi's Brahmstra against dominant OBC and Caste census.
Similar commission, if established, would reveal stark finding in SC/ST reservation. Incidentally, Supreme court is listening sub classification of SC/ST. You can see the seethe, it was never about social justice.
I dont oppose reservation at all, i am in favour of it. As long as it doesnt breach 50 percent ceiling, i am not in favour of EWS though. But any attempt to criticise its implementation can never be shut down. Reservation is representation and it is duty of the state of ensure a wide spectrum of castes and sub castes find their representation in govt colleges and jobs.
Not some specific castes in SC/ST/OBC only.
Very good solution is sub classification and horizontal EWS reservation in SC/ST/OBC, so economically weaker among can take benefit. And Abolishment of UC EWS reservation. Then you would see truly diverse crowd in jobs and institution.
And declare 50 percent ceiling as inviolable thereby balancing right of opportunity and representation.
For that we have to support modi to bring judicial reform, so that modi can implement 50 percent resevation in higher judiciary. Fir right wing ke log bathenge and kaam ho jayga.
Time has come to show the door to leftist UC from supreme court and bring right wing SC/ST/OBC in supreme court. Only reservation in supreme court can ensure that. And modi is going to do that, representation(resevation) bahana hai apne log baithane hai 😉😉
Leftist UC has long enjoyed monopoly in Supreme court, now time is for right wing subaltern representation in Higher judiciary. So that absolute power can be given to parliament and right wing. Basic structure doctrine has to go.
Itne downvote kyon bhai !? 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

Is it possible to make a shift? How can I go about it?
If your firm doesn't have a Delhi team, even then moving is not unheard of. Chances are better if you're doing arbitrations as those skills are location-agnostic as against court work which has procedural differences. But even with courts, the procedural aspect is not the whole deal. Try and do good work in Mumbai - whatever you get tasked with - and you should be able to convince a Delhi law firm partner of your utility too. All the best
Nobody hates it, people just don't believe that it provides good money's worth and has got no standard for admission. Hence people from JGLS need to prove themselves separately before others take them seriously. Is it unfair? Maybe. However, your alma mater's reputation will rub off on you. That's how it is.
The institution is not responsible for giving anyone job, however, it will be held accountable for the PR that it does about giving everyone jobs so long as they want it. Not everyone who works hard at JGLS gets a job. If the institute PR team and trolls don't go around bragging about their faculty and global reputation and fantastic opportunities not offered by any other Indian institution, then people would not really pay any attention to JGLS or its students, honestly.
Every university in India can make the same claim, those students who work hard get the opportunities. Then why would someone spend such abysmal sums to study law at JGLS, especially when it claims to offer so much more?
Interview process and offer letter closed within 3-4 days.
1. Stop hating and marginalising NLUs and other law unis. There are consequences to it.
2. People keep nagging about the number of students enrolled vs the number of students placed because of your humongous batch size which definitely deserves some constructive criticism.
3. Accept the fact that more than half of your batch is a result of privilege and generational wealth. Not individual capability.
4. Accept the fact that more than half of your batch either flunked or didn't appear for entrance exams like CLAT and AILET.
5. "Just because someone is paying a hefty sum, how is it a responsibility of the institute to get them a job" sorry but what??
Also please tell how is the internship? stipend?
However, one potential drawback of IILM Law School is its relatively high tuition fees compared to some other institutions. While the quality of education and opportunities for practical experience justify the investment for many students, the cost may present a barrier to entry for those from lower-income backgrounds. Additionally, some students may find the workload and academic expectations challenging, requiring a significant level of dedication and time management to excel in their studies. Overall, while IILM Law School offers a rewarding educational experience, the financial considerations and academic rigor should be carefully weighed by prospective you.
Your journey reflects the struggles and uncertainties that many individuals face in navigating their career paths. It's evident from your achievements, such as scoring exceptionally well in JEE mains and cracking exams like MH CET and SLAT, that you possess the intellect and capability to excel in your chosen field. Your resilience in bouncing back from setbacks like a difficult breakup and facing self-doubt is a testament to your strength of character. I understand the weight of familial expectations and the pressure to conform to predetermined paths. However, it's crucial to remember that your worth is not defined solely by the institution you attend or the career you pursue.
Success comes in many forms, and your determination to follow your passion for law is a testament to your courage and authenticity. It's natural to experience moments of doubt and uncertainty, especially when faced with criticism from loved ones. But please know that your journey is unique, and setbacks are not indicators of failure but opportunities for growth and self-discovery. It's okay to seek support and guidance from others, whether it's through mentors, counselors, or trusted friends and family members. As you prepare to retake SLAT and MH CET, I encourage you to approach the process with renewed determination and self-belief. Remember to be kind to yourself and acknowledge the progress you've made so far.
Your journey may not be linear, but each experience contributes to your growth and resilience.
So this paper is important reading for all students and those in first year should definitely raise it in Economics class with their professors.

SCI is cruel when it comes to peoples' plight but they are super hawkish when it comes to threat for their fiefdom. People like Chelameshwar are rare & most of the current lot of judges on SCI are subservient to state but they will safeguard their powers more.
Which of these books are worth reading and can teach us something about law or about the legal profession?
b. If the gap is the obstruction for such opportunities, what way is there to fill it?
c. Is it time to start panicking?
Now mind you, the placement here doesn't mean campus drives. The university invites companies to choose from the curated CV pools from the college. Whether there is any hope for campus drives in the future that isn't known.
Lot of states are now coming up with experience thing to be eligible. Whether it is counted from Bar Council CoP that one acquires after clearing AIBE or actual practice in courts?
No one is looking down on the couple of llm students at top institutions that actually want to learn and do a good job and work hard. People mostly admire them. We're looking down on freeriders. Dont be such a victim.
Thanks.
New 30 day return policy on out live in relationship has been announced
Is he a good Senior to work with?
What's your pick and WHYYYYYYY ?? Let's get philosophical.
Only if you want to get married faster.
( Seniors, please reply to this genuine query)
Bump!
MARRIAGE is a highly overrated institution, infact it causes way more complexities than you would have ever faced in your life. You marry someone you love but there is no surety that this person you love with all that you've got will love you back the same way always and forever. They will get bored and end up cheating on you...you won't even know what's happening behind your back with these crazy law firm work timing! I hope you get a better partner. But this is just one of the complexities and there is alot more shit that comes along with getting married, get ready to go through hard times if you really want to get married.

There are a few communities that are different. Bengal has given six Nobel Laureates to India (more than all the other states combined), but the traders do not care. Winning a Nobel is an intellectual pursuit, and Nobel laureates are not rich. With a trading mindset, one would rather be rich, than aspire to win a Nobel. You see how this works.
if someone goes abroad and does it without scholarship its mostly because they were papa and ma's farishta. also what does it add?
