More than that I see them lamenting on how potential recruits messed up the application for them, and treat Linkedin like their own personal message board trying to "school" people. Seem scary.
What rank does nujs nri go on till ? Iam not talking about the lists but in actuality. I have heard the lists aren't updated is that true ? Can someone from nujs confirm?
Are you about the nujs thing ? Because alot of time total applicants are mentioned in the merit list and not only the ones selected
They will only consider the proviso and won't appoint a successor. xD
Probably not nujs. You might get nluj towards the very end . Ironically that's the Better option because if you are paying higher might aswell go to the college with private rooms and a much bigger campus .
Clearly haven't ever been to NALSAR. Or you've lived in a bubble and have no idea what the other law schools are like. NLU Delhi is probably the only NLU to have overtaken us, that too barely.
Yes, it does. I did alot knowing that I dont have a back up and being a first generation lawyer.

Am a partner now in a Tier 1 law firm.
Hang on.. you're telling me that the same Harvard Law School students fighting for Gaza/BLM and seeking social justice are elitist snobs? Doesn't add up.
How much time does LKS take to review the written test, that is submitted after the interview? Do they inform if you are rejected?
Hi, how is Ikigai law to work at? Please highlight if they have work from home or flexible workhours? Any thing which you like about them? Also any idea how much they pay to an SA? Thanks.
Buddy, they are also the part of the legal education system. Their voices matter a lot. You are no one to tell.
I think it's more of what the subject area is of the article published on IndiaCorpLaw. Maybe the Arbitration and Competition law and similar ones lack the rigour, but the tax ones I read are fairly analytical and well researched and reasoned out.
NLS students protesting on palestine that does not even affect them but MNLU nagpur students cannot protest even for things that affect them....

Rare NLS W
Do it, if you can. Good investment. Take loan too. Put money in SIP/ equities.
Bump, can anyone kindly help with lateral options for funds lawyers?
After reading this I am thoroughly confused, I am questioning my life decisions.

But I have found that political slogans are panacea to all ills. So chanting them all the time. You also do so.
People from 2023/2024 batch have been exempted from internship criteria due to covid.
A comment pointing out the immaturity of this post has been marked trollish and unpublished, which only goes to show that the mods are actively encouraging such posts and enabling such attitude. Nice!
How exactly is this comment trollish? I'm not the one who posted it, but I find only facts in it, nothing else.
Gets better with time. Good chance you will earn more than corporate peers in your lifetime. But you'll need patience and perseverance.
If you're getting a ready to move in property, go for it. Don't if it is an under construction property.
I am considering getting a job at Vahura, Adept, Avimukta etc. These are consultancy firms who notify and hire people for top tier law firms. I wanted to know how can freshers join these firms? Does anyone have any idea bout this career path?
lmao the bigger fish always eats the smaller ones. The kind of treatment meted out by the ballb students of NLS to their llm cohort is biting them back….keep it up! Harvard once again showed you your place and this is the first time I am rooting for HLS
99% of people in India itself have never even heard of NLS or any other NLU, why on Earth would NLS get you brownie points abroad??? It amazes me how people from such prestigious institutes can lack so many braincells. YOU are the arrogant one
We have over 50 T1 offers, literally placed everyone who sat for placements.
Are you serious? You are going to judge an institute like nalsar based on comments on an anonymous forum?

I owe everything I have today to NALSAR. It gave me a high paying job, exposure to some truly brilliant people, and the best fucking five years of my life.
Proposal withdrawn, it was finalised. However, people protested (for good) and now it's not.
Those who are joining the University in 2024, do take note of this and make your decision WISELY.
Are there any other allowance additions like for internet etc
That's what all GNLU trolls on this platform dream of. The reality of course is different. GNLU has never been ahead of NLUD or NUJS in any metric whatsoever.
How many PPOs for 2020-25, GNLU??? Have heard that multiple PPOs have been offered during this break?? If it's true, GNLU would end up having one of the best PPO counts among Tier 1s
Yeah. And, the salary is not 'taxed at 30%' as said by the above comment. A portion of tax deducted at source will be refunded.
Gail barely looks into applications in Mumbai now. Apply to the respective Partners you wish to work with in Mumbai, they surely get back in case you have an above average CV.
What about argus. I’ve seen people apply and get placed fin final years too - what’s the process.
At least they should accommodate articles with analysis. Merely reiterating a judgment or a report and stating whether it is right or wrong without incorporating why it is so is not an analysis.

Furthermore IRCCL also gets good amount of articles.
This is all true. I came here to say this- but Im glad I dont have to. OP- read this. Stick out the year and then jump.
Literally my interview was less than 5 minutes. They took one look at my degree and took me.
What is the stipend for the role of Paralegal in CAM? If someone is joining the role immediately after graduating, and upon good performance, after how much time does the role convert into an associate position?
It is just like trial court work except done in private hearing rooms.
Achieved in for NLUO. With a BJP government in power, hopefully NLUO will also receive central government funds.
Fresher looking for an LPO job as a stop-gap arrangement. How to go about applying for it? What experience, skills, other eligibility criteria required for it? How's the pay, nature of work and work-life balance? Questions asked in interview?
Between 1 - 1.2L at A1. Bonus of 3-5 months depending on performance
NLU tag is not material. IP in general gets paid 30-40% less than other teams
Don't worry, even if the situation is bad you have a good alumni network there
27-28 aspirational firms out of 39. With a batch size of more than 150, how is this even respectable?
You can stay at YMCA is good. It's very close to NP.

Else you will have to find something at Churchgate or New Marine lines. There are a few around on Pedder Road and Malbar Hill. Depends on what you want to spend.

Good luck.
A magnetic comeback in terms of a tier-2 NLU categorisation. NLUO has always shown resilient placements, even this year, when 2023-24 was very cloudy. If this college gets its administration right, nluo will be a strong contender for the tier-1 tag by the end of 2030. Period.
Intern with a SC judge at the end of your second year or beginning of third year
They pay well. Enough to buy your way out of trouble even if you are caught on camera running your Merc over people. No Pune Porsche nonsense here
You can stay in the samundar for free. Save time on the commute as well. No traffic or anything. Plus high protein breakfast.

Seriously though, there are a lot of PGs in Marine Lines, which is a short and direct bus ride away from Nariman Point.
