Not just you mate. Anything that’s contemporary is all that’s needed to get published there nowadays. Sad.
Happened to me too. Sent my blog to CBCL and HNLU CCLS, while the latter at least gave me a detailed review of where my manuscript was lacking, the former merely gave vague reasons which were not helpful at all.
Hey man. Short blogs don't necessarily need in-depth analysis. You should look up a law review research paper for that. Now go read that article again.
anyone who says that blog doesn’t require in-depth analysis is out rightly wrong, you just can’t judge every blog piece on the basis of your articulation, the blog is question is nothing but CCI coming up with press releases lmao
Hawww, did you "just assume" that I am a "man"? Cancel karo isko
I personally find IRCCL to be the best corp law blog in India currently. ICL has definitely gone down.
know them personally, they lack substance and suck up to teachers for good grades anyways.
Haha yes, just saw who are the authors of the article.

Know them personally as well and couldn’t agree more w you lol. Goes on to prove a good batch rank is nothing more than a show of your rote-learning prowess.
they don't even rote learn, just being teacher's pets is what got them good grades.
Can we stop commenting with such identifiable information about particular people who are still students please? That's very harsh
Tum bhi usi gaon kae lagte ho isliyae bachate firtae ho
SLS authors be like Indiacorplaw kay chakar mae mujhay kyu todha 😂😂
IRCCL has quite accomplished set of editors. Hard to get published
I and many people around me have contrary opinions and experiences on this. Whenever my blog has been rejected by ICL, I have subsequently sent it to IRCCL and they have readily accepted it.
At least they should accommodate articles with analysis. Merely reiterating a judgment or a report and stating whether it is right or wrong without incorporating why it is so is not an analysis.

Furthermore IRCCL also gets good amount of articles.
We don't know of any such firm in existence.
What I could recently see upcoming is GNLU Blog on Corporate Laws - they might be bit slow in turnaround but editorial has been taking good efforts to publish qualitative blogs. Should be in a few top corp law blogs soon.
I know there will be one dude in this comment section commenting "kyu bhai chapa nahi?"
NLUD CBFL Blog is comparatively great tbh. Strict editorial process and they are very selective in what they publish. Know of people whose pieces got rejected there and subsequently published on ICL/IRCCL
I think it's more of what the subject area is of the article published on IndiaCorpLaw. Maybe the Arbitration and Competition law and similar ones lack the rigour, but the tax ones I read are fairly analytical and well researched and reasoned out.
The way ICL rejects articles without giving any reasoning whatsover is mind-boggling
