- No guarnatee of ROI after spedning lakhs on formal education
- Ultra - common Layoffs and mounting competition
- Insecurity of seniors, both in academic and professional sphere, since they would not hesitate to keep the juniors down to save their own incompetencies.
- Major academic disciplines like MBA, Engineering, IIMs, law and data science either becoming redundant or over saturated
- Toxicty at workplace on peak and no respite like WFH or even hybrid working model across major industries, which saps on the productivity of employees in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon and Bengaluru .
- Outdated syallbus being taught in instutites, wihh wouldn't even qualiy a person for a clerical job.
Is the situation being steered towards a doom for our generation?
Agree, with respect to NLUs? Aren't conservatives ostracised at NLUs and wouldn't calling yourself a conservative, ironically, be seen as rebellious in an NLU?
where are you people
Come and tell us how much we need reservation in private sector desperately
They're considered quite good for investment arbitration, but nothing special otherwise.
1. Disputes in Delhi
2. Capital Markets in Mumbai
so, GLC is not worth it for someone who want to work with firms ?
Respect to women who survive this, even more respect to women who can make even an inch of a difference in bringing in change. And empathy to the women who have become hard and cynical (and then stereotyped, having tried to survive this.
I'm sorry for this incident. @OP, I hope you find the support you need.
IMO this single line by Justice Thommen sums up the issue:
"What the Constitution permits is the adoption of suitable and appropriate measures to correct the continuing evil effects of prior discrimination. Over-inclusiveness in such measures by unduly widening the net of reservation to unjustifiably protect the ill deserved at the expense of the others would result in invidious discrimination offending the Constitutional objective. "
This is precisely the problem that is happening now. ▮▮▮
So we really need to ask ourselves if the truly deserving receive reservation.
The other question is of merit. Is it justified to admit medical students, who will be conducting life-saving operations, with low marks in the entrance tests?
So we really need to go back to the dissent in the OG reservation case.
so, are 3 yr graduates getting enough opportunities ?
Plus, even Jindal admins knows that they have failed in getting good placements this time. It has been in talks all over Jindal.
Also, which of the Corporate Partners are nice to work under/ who would you recommend?
For some context, I am a fresh graduate from a good private college and was recently desparately looking for a job in IPR.
Got shortlisted for an interview with a relatively famous IP firm and the nightmare began. There were supposed to be two rounds: 1 GD and 1 interview with the partner. Cleared GD and then gave the interview with the partner and was asked to wait for further communication from the firm. Well, after waiting for two weeks, was told there would a 3rd round with the Managing Partner, and then ghosted for the next TWO MONTHS!! Not even an email of rejection until I called them multiple times asking about it. So, to summarize it, the whole thing was a waste of my time, energy and was mentally tasking when I was borderline facing Job-hunt depression. Found the whole thing very unprofessional and disrespectful:/
Would be really helpful.
I am ASO CSS
Should he too enrol in 5 year course as treating badly will crush my self esteem.

Rest, about Arun please share your thoughts?
But let’s look at it objectively. The proliferation of quotas in NLUs, along with the popularity of CLAT outside metro cities, has resulted in a large chunk of NLU students (possibly the majority) hailing from non-elite schools and family backgrounds, with weak communication skills in English. In fact, even Sudhir hinted at this in an interview with Bar & Bench, where he said that NLSIU had a very different demographic composition during his time. In other words, someone like a Sudhir or an Akshay Jaitley or an Ashwath Rau or a Vikramjit Banerjee or a Gopal Shankarnarayan may have been be unable to crack even a top 10 NLU today and be forced to go to Jindal, or to NUJS/GNLU as an NRI quota admit. Indeed, you will see many children of NLSIU alumni at Jindal today. Law firms would rather hire a Jindal grad educated at a reputed school, and with superior communication skills in English, over an NLU grad from a modest background.
Finally, another point for you guys to think about: have you asked yourselves how many NUJS NRI quota students make it to T1 firms? The answer is a lot. So why bash only Jindal?
Do u think there still opportunity for ppo
Securities team also left?
Divyanshu went back to JSA after spending 3-4 years at S&R - he was a senior EP, this must have def hit the firms books.
Maybe S&R has deep enough pockets to absorb these hits. But the firm is past its glory days - thats clear to see.
Will this life JSA off its grave and bring it to limelight? It does however need a complete HR overhaul internally.
Heard they are reaching out for campus recruitment and internships via RCCs and not the usual website.
So the company that terminated me from company suddenly was just abfew days after I wrote to senior management how HR was in collusion with the sexual harassers and had refused to give me the final report in my complaints of harassment.

There's no chance you're Aman. If you're, let's meet next week and discuss this.
Nice guy. Smart.
I haven't heard anything about their litigating team.
