For some context, I am a fresh graduate from a good private college and was recently desparately looking for a job in IPR.
Got shortlisted for an interview with a relatively famous IP firm and the nightmare began. There were supposed to be two rounds: 1 GD and 1 interview with the partner. Cleared GD and then gave the interview with the partner and was asked to wait for further communication from the firm. Well, after waiting for two weeks, was told there would a 3rd round with the Managing Partner, and then ghosted for the next TWO MONTHS!! Not even an email of rejection until I called them multiple times asking about it. So, to summarize it, the whole thing was a waste of my time, energy and was mentally tasking when I was borderline facing Job-hunt depression. Found the whole thing very unprofessional and disrespectful:/
Taking it too personally will just increase frustration.
Just think that some years down the line you will have the same power.
