Ruetviej Pandya - great work, but no wfh policy. Iqbal doesn't have a lot of work right now. Ramgovind is good
You're missing the simple facts that others have also achieved something. Mahua was VP in JP Morgan apart from winning Lok Sabha election. Similarly, Priyanka has been playing an active part in politics for a while and won Lok Sabha election. So let's not denigrate others.
First time lateralling from a T2, aiming for T1

Which recruiters should i go for?

What are some recruiter red flags?
Got to know that KCO is moving to a new office in Gurgaon (didnโ€™t even know that KCO had an office in Gurgaon). KCO might be expanding its presence in Delhi NCR.

Which is the best corporate team of KCO Gurgaon and how are these teams to work with ?
Try contacting HR and also explain the situation to your Partner/PA (whoever extended you the PPO). Preferably approach your team informally first to get an idea of their thoughts on this I guess.
Would request the best team and Partners who are really good in RE in Delhi NCR.

I am shifting my base from Mumbai to Delhi in RE.
Any reviews about the RE team? I am due to join by May. Any feedback on how to handle the pressure and people? โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
Or should I not even join?
So you are the reason for all the venom they keep spewing on LinkedIn!
No. I am from Bangalore. Know an advocate who works regularly in the Karnataka High Court. She and her family are from the Hindi Belt. None of them have a word of Kannada, as far as I know.
No, it is not. The association of any toppers with their respective educational institutions is incidental, not instrumental.
All 13 are not moving but Abir and Satyadarshi are moving with a few associates. Aroop accepted the counter offer but Abir and Satyadarshi were clear. Notice period being served out.
IJBOL... DU, JNU and plenty of unranked law Universities have been producing UPSC toppers for more than half a century. Grow up. Also, most of them didn't even opt for law as an optional.
Moving to IndusLaw. Someone from his team has already joined the firm. Confirmed news
The attrition in BTG is super low, very low PPO converts. Extremely good firm to work for tho
While this is good, the state of law as an optional in upsc is abysmal. Ishan cleared last year with law optional and had >200 rank. This time, he opted for sociology and got a single digit rank.
All good guys leaving slowly. Place and people are friendly. Most are decent. Some bad eggs though!
Received an offer from them as well. Can't find much about them online.
would love to have a chat my friend, im a 23' batch grad myself. Here is my id is shrutialok05@gmail.com
Who are some of the best M&A partners dealing in cross-border transactions in India?
Congratulations to all. GNLU has confirmed news of two qualifying. Waiting for more confirmations if there are.
True. The cost to return is not worth it unless and until fees is simple not your concern.
Being in a T1 gives enough opportunities to overcome 1 drop year.

I would still suggest to go for partial. You won't have a "gap year" that way.
Corp 3 isnโ€™t what it used to be when we were there. Word in the town is that new partners are hard taskmasters.
Mishraji since you monitor this platform- please convey to VC the grievance of alumni
Hello,

I want to work as in-house counsel in the long run but want to start with a firm for my initial years of practice. Which firm practice areas would give me the most leverage for subsequently switching to in house?
Why do liberals simp over Priyanka Gandhi and Mahua Moitra, when there is someone so brilliant and articulate like Menaka? Not to mention someone who has actually achieved something in her profession?
He does but I guess very rarely and that too those with political figures.

If im not mistaken he was one of the lead counsels for Jagdish Tytler at DHC. Commerical Litigation is his main forte.
Recently Kapil and Amit appeared in Whatsapp privacy case. Kapil was very dismissive of his son and didn't let him speak a single word.
Letโ€™s be clear โ€” the NIRF top 3 of NLSIU/NLUD/NALSAR is reinforced year after year and unmatched. ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘
But NLUD isn't considered tier one either when it comes to placement!
NALSAR currently has the best overall placement scene. It has edged NUJS to the second place in that sense during the last three years.
Lol, NLSIU is full of NUJS alumni at this stage. If you are considering them as 'tier 2 alumni', then what does that make NLSIU?
This is excellent news! I'm not from NLUD, but I honestly believe that it is a good thing that people with good legal education are joining the civil services.
Don't forget the 60 lakh whose names have been deleted altogether. People having been marked as dead who are still very much alive.
Which credit course has he taught there? As a student, I am not aware of any such individual offering any credit course here. If any faculty has invited him in their individual capacity to take classes for their subjects, then that's a different matter altogether.
Thank you for your elaborate reply. However as an outsider I'm not aware of of the internal structure. Could you explain me what does corporate 1-7 nomenclature mean? Also direct names (initials) of the partners would be better to search the type of work they do.
Can you elaborate more on 'not a corporate culture', what do you mean by that? Also, I am looking for internships purely in corporate and that too capital markets, do you think it will be good for long term to intern here. And how are Delhi and Jaipur offices as well
If you mean NLSIU and NALSAR alumni, yes they flock to NLSIU.

If you mean tier 2 NLU alumni, they are scattered everywhere, including at NUJS as someone mentioned.
They're Tier 3. Won't make it to Tier 2, not enough pedigree - the senior partners didn't ever work at Tier 1.
In case you want to speak, please share an anonymous email here, will connect with you to discuss the same. I am recent graduate from BVP

working in T1.
Are you joining a t1 , which can offer you to work with different teams?
Is mhcet 3yr llb tough to crack? How much preparation is need to get into glc
Guys please help- how to get a tier one/two paid internship for June 2026 in Mumbai. I already have one for may and one for july but june is free plus I am not a native so I don't want to waste pg rent. Also suggest good rent places pls

Ishan and Tanisha were already in the Services.
Who are the law students who has qualified for UPSC 2025?
No the Audre Lorde quote actually is that the masters tools will not destroy the masters house. I disagree with a lot of what she says but letโ€™s not ruin a good turn of phrase.
LMAO, here come the PIC peeps of IPL to justify why they can't even get a single one placed. And if you call 7 LPA CTC placement, then just give away your degree.
Kirti mahaptra's tech policy team at SAM - interview scheduled.

Any points I should take care of?
Jindal

Coming from a GLC alumni, you don't need to get into hustle of best internship competition from your 1st year. You'll have practically no college life, little to no memories and probably no college friends. Live appropriate life.
