Faculty, admin, placements, moot, co-curricular everything is better at NLUO. Maybe Infra is a bit better at RGNUL.
and RGNUL has AC rooms I guess because its too hot in summer , so NLUO would have moderate temperature?
As a North Indian will it be okay to go there?
RGNUL's placement stats are a mystery, but students seem to be doing well too as per their placement cell's linkedin. They are also chuffed about their campus and infra.
Choosing a college where you are going to stay for 5 years is not just a career decision, it's a life decision. Don't go by metrics that other people push
Regarding Admin: After the end sem exams in April for the graduating batch, atleast 45 students/180 had some kind of backlog. Admin conducted examinations of each paper remaining. Gave everyone a last chance to pass subjects. Without any fees.
Never got any attendance backs. There were scares but not one attendance debar happened. Atleast for 2019-24 Batch. The admin trust me is as good as it gets.
Two Biggest concern here could be crowd for the new batches, as 60-70% of them are locals. That sucks. If not for this, our Uni would be performing a lot better.
"Language" is the last problem for a North Indian there. If you are excluded from a conversation by Odia speaking group of friends, that's another story because they are not your friends.
