A boutique IP law firm in GK called IRA Law is known to be an amazing paymaster! They pay around 80k to freshers along with a generous annual bonus.
Is it any worth the hassle of interning there for a non-internship month? And what is the stipend situation there like? Also what are the chances of getting an internship there without reference?
The partner is a rainmaker but the team he has is very sub standard as compared to any tier 1s
Grapevine has it that another partner has resigned from the team. Can someone please confirm?
Hi there, I have applied to the same [i dont have a connection :)]. could you please tell me if you applied through your placement cell or contacted the hr. I have contacted the hr and they looped the internship team what and how do i follow up so i receive the same?
Hey, Can you please tell how did you get this link? I have trying to follow up with them I will be doing it tomorrow as well? Were you behind their tail or they just hit you up?

(PLEASE)
Your question covers practically 4 sub-practices, spread across approximately 20 partners. It would be difficult to generalise. My suggestion would be to check for specific partner teams.
OP is only asking what they can do in this situation. Youโ€™ve just talked trash and not given any helpful advice. Even if there isnโ€™t an affair and thereโ€™s just excessive favouritism, that too warrants scrutiny.
Trilegal - Jishnu Sanyal, TTA - Arnav Guha Roy, JSA - Vandana Venkatesh and S&R - Pratichi Mishra.
the ratings are not out yet lmfao, every year someone runs these posts and the revenue grows, increments follow normal levels of hikes, and bonuses depend on team to team, but is largely fine as well.
1 fot into in SAM,
2 of them got into Poovayya,
1 in Kco
someone else in a boutique tax law firm

But none of them got it through the placement cell lmao
I doubt someone like Mr. Seervai would bill Kamra for such constitutional writs.
The disputes partner makes some really questionable posts imo. Sarcastic for the sake of it?
A birdie told me that their disputes team has suffered heavily. A team had 8 people up for SAship, only 2 received it. An evident case of overhiring to the detriment of the individuals. Wasted years for deserving people.
Interns have teeth as well, but they usually refrain from biting others. Sometimes, they may bite fellow interns.
where does the disputes team of bombay law chambers, mumbai office sit? with the main bkc office?
It's really easy, just some general knowledge questions which they would expect any law student to know.
If NUJS, NALSAR recent grads are so mediocre, then why is NLSIU recruiting them as faculty? Does this mean that your understanding of these places is not as accurate as you claim to be?
The team has a great variety of court work. A fairly decent sized team so depends on your experience too. Itโ€™s a good place to learn and pick up. I had the chance to work with one of the PAs (Neelabh) who was very helpful.
Tell me you are ignorant without telling me you are ignorant. Oracle Legal Team globally should be 600 to 1000 lawyers. Technology companies have a lot of lawyers. Contacts, compliance, employment and other teams altogether.
They booted out JS Patil. For all his faults, he cared about whatever institution he heads. Not surprised at the current state of affairs.
Have you ever thought that some of those who are trying to inject some reality into you, you puffed up, ugly little popinjay, are not actually aspiring commercial lawyers at all, but people working in other (non-law firm) sectors anxious to rid the legal field of bullies โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
I hope one day somebody will teach you that you aren't remotely as important as you seem to think you are. Trust me, when that day comes, you will be much, much happier.
It appears Prof Ruhi did a great job, and she never had any issues with anyone. It seems like a routine change, as NLUD has many options.
What if i apply to tier 1 firm e.g. AZB (Gen corp) in their office suppose chennai or any other office, what are the chances of me getting accepted and will the perks differ from the offices based in mumbai or delhi?
Any inisights would be appreciated.
My research finds that none of ikigai, indus, jsa or spice route are hiring. Does anyone know any other places or anything else about these places?
why do you say they are bad on corp law? they seem to have worked on a couple of big deals and the founder even went to the davos economic summit and so on...
I was thinking of that... but do newly promoted partners start hiring immediatly?
how do i go about that? just cold mail him?
May I know how was the interview, what kind of questions do you expect and was it cv based entirely?
I get paid (fixed) the same as any other team in this T1 firm. Bonus may vary.
Retired bureaucrat (IAS, IPS, etc) sent to jail, custody etc. for various alleged financial irregularities and other related corruption practices. It is getting more and more difficult to be an under the table officer in today's day and age, no more Old timer's privileged?
Many of these claims with a little modification can apply to US under Trump, actually. Not that there aren't amazing people in the country trying to fight against it.
Can someone please give an honest review on the GC/ M&A/ PE/ VC practice at CAM bangalore in terms of work, hours, culture, etc.?
They have one of the best PEVC work for a firm that size. Attrition is negligible. On top of that they do sizeable international arbitration matters
Arre, ro mat. I know of people from your university make it to top-tier firms like SAM, CAM, JSA, and KCO. Focus on sharpening your practical instincts and being more street smart - youโ€™ll be just fine.

Also, don't forget to watch Samay Raina's latest upload.
Yooo this is super important! please suggest Snack, anything that you can munch on, which is helthy and give you energy for the kind of cognitive work that this job demands!!!
Not a fan of Islamic countries but the US too is going down the road of Christian fundamentalism. Religion itself is cancer.
Can some one suggest vacancies or places you should apply as A1, for laterally shifting in banking and finance
Meanwhile, Jindal is keeping on extorting more fees, increasing batch sizes and launching sham courses, raj & company can now run jindal through interest income only
Whenever you are lost look at the stars they will guide you home
"... even greater heights"??? Bhai pehle great heights to achieve kar lene do placement stats ko.
Yes true, if the Boss has such qualities he or she is a person who wants everything for free, without giving back in terms of kindness, mentorship and scholarship.
The replies be telling me that fat people seem to not know that they are fat
The interview went okayish. I comfortably answered all the questions asked, but the panel didn't seem very interested, so I'm guessing it wasn't that great. Regardless, it was my first job interview and felt good.
Plenty of men out here doing "favours". Men, too, eventually realise and get disgusted.
Yes, Iโ€™ve heard similar things about this firm from other people, and the HR is really tarnishing the firmโ€™s image in the market, hope the boss reads this thread and removes the head HR.
There are approximately 43 law colleges in state of chattisgarh and its very easy to pin point the law college because another 42 are tier 3 or lower and only 1 tier 2 .
It's top tier work, and a good culture in that everyone is respectful but the hours can get extremely bad.
Moral of the story - if you want to lose weight, get a girl to body shame you
Theyโ€™re hiring at SA, associates just keep leaving, Iโ€™m sure weโ€™ll see many many more
Yes pls - theyโ€™re hiring actively - someone suggest who is better please ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ l
fucking hate the favouritism and it quite literally trickles down to the A0s itโ€™s repulsive
NDA has a dead disputes practice. I don't think Solomon and Co or any old-school litigation firm would allow you to leave that early.
Go for gen corp. You will probably end up quitting in a few years if you get into cap marks
Are you โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ? They can do all they please but when it interrupts work, it's not okay.
Are there online mode corporate law firm / in house internships available in 2026? If so, please make the firm/ company which offers it
Lol. Looks like some poor delusional soul from the NKU team. Go for SAM any day over TL.
Hiring is done. However, you could try your luck with T.V. Just got promoted to partnership.
There is no internship. No job prospects. Even the teachers are โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ. The administration is more than likely โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ. Nothing of value happens on campus. BO26 has no PPO. Sorry state of affairs.
This firm has a lot of attrition time and again. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
Hi , when did you apply for the internship in may ? Like which month did you apply ? And how did you apply ?
This doesn't help. OP chose law, and felt a certain way about it, and asked for help and advice on a forum. If this touched some insecurity of yours then cope
A certain droit fiscal team in a law firm with a recent book has paras A-G so clear. thrives on the fact that they worked in the equivalent of โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ

knows nothing
What is the PPO and hiring scene for 2027 batch is it already done? which firms are accepting applications for now June-August 2026 slots seem to be already booked
Worked two years in T2 law firm, now exhausted and wanted to get into a good reputed chamber with good drafting and learning opportunity. Looking for good suggestions. Not very senior or about to become judge or gown types. Salary cut not an issue.
Anybody can do law without a law degree. Anybody can't do nursing without being qualified and trained.
Didn't the new book say the firm's revenue grew and is on the way to grow? Each year this post on legally india keeps coming up on how Trilegal does not get any business....
Absolutely. Work for 10 years in middle East and save enough for a comfortable life in india. Majority of my friends from south easily saved 1-2 cr from abroad and are now living peacefully through indirect investments.
Any scholar, any institute, any advocate and any professor that works on disability studies in india ? Especially intellectual learning disabilities?
Not looking for placement, just a learning experience. What sort of work do the interns do? And is it worth it? I have read the past threads and understand its not the best place to work but can it be good as an internship opportunity?
Transactions are okay. but โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ treated very poorly to not know something which is not even in your experience ambit. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
