Because he picked them up from tier 3 after his exit from CAM so can't reallly expect the kind of quality in them
the most crowded + the least commercially viable option. Next would be laywers protesting on streets for fair pay like the labourers in Noida.
Newly opened in max house okhla, 3 partners - Rohan Batra (litigation), Sarthak Parmani (tax) and Harman (Corp)
Chosen, it seems. Boss – you are not here to choose. You can choose who you elevate to partnership – sure. Towards the rest of us, there is a bona fide expectation of fair treatment in a workplace. Please read your own firm's values and ethics statement.
It is amazing that women use the "women card" to get out of most normal expectations of a workplace.
Any idea about NLUD? They made a post welcoming MUFG?
they pay about 40-50k to their dispute team , who receive ppo, and 60k for lateral
you aren't wrong. 90% of the people they moved with from Phoenix have left/been cut out. There is no loyalty or value given to resources here. Its okay to intern but no long term prospects.
Just look at the website and find the details. What's the point of making this post.
Even if you don't like the argument about recreation facilities and politics etc, how are we downvoting a comment asking for more robust safety measures?
Fresher BO26. Haven’t interned there before, just applied for an assessment and now they’ve called me for a proper interview. Didn’t realize they do interviews for assessments so any inputs would be great.
The years first news was CAM partners leaving. Helluva way to set an example.
Hello all. I'm looking for DRT or Sarfaesi specialized law firms in Mumbai/ Bengaluru. I have 1 year of lit experience. Kindly guide me
PA's are partners in making. If they imbibe proper BD and execution skills then they are the future. There are PA's that shoot better than Partners. So yes, PA going is a big indication that a firm does not value those who show promise.
Dont thing anyone with an ounce of self respect will leave and go back there.
Heard a huge round of exodus is on the cards? Lot of SA's and associates gearing up for the shift post the appraisal cycles? What's brewing??
what is even going on at these NLUs.... why are there so many deaths... the rot runs deeper than it seems.
A student at NUJS fell from BH of the main campus. What is the university admin doing?

Om shanti. Peace and prayers for friends and family.
Sure. Average lawyers. All designated, senior counsels, earning easily 5cr plus, with luxury cars, arguing high stake matters, and...? Yes average lawyer as held by some law student from nowhere or an associate in a firm doing clerical work
The problem with NLSIU is the fees. It's fricking 6 lakhs for one year. NALSAR and NUJS are around 2 lakhs which seems way more reasonable to me.
A woman crying and moaning about some guy doing well and accusing another woman of legitimate workplace misconduct just because she's insecure is definitely about challenges faced by women at work. Sure
He is absolutely right. Law isn't software engineering where you can work 8 hours a day and make 30 LPA. If you want to survive in the most crowded profession in the country, you have to slog.
Big if true, but where are they going? No one cares about a PA resigning but partners resigning is a big deal.
You're not too smart if you think only 20-25 such partners earn 10+ cr. Founders of boutique firms earn that much. Managing partners and senior partners in tier 1s cross that easily.
ABS scholar here. Not worth the risk. The interview process can be random. There's a fair bit of luck involved. The upside is not worth changing your college.
The atrocious comments in this thread exemplify the challenges women face at the workplace. It is a pity that so many men are such insecure, blinkered failures.
Don't argue for the sake of arguing. Everyone knows that humanities subjects (or 'arts' as it is called in India) don't teach anything useful. They may be good to clear UPSC exams, but generally 'smart' students don't go for this stream.
While there may be rumours and they may indeed be true, this is part and parcel of Tier 1 functioning. It’s the nature of the market. You never know when they will be back once again.
Same as always. Lalla has no respect for his Generals, they do their best to change the system, get frustrated and leave.
S&R Associates, great work life balance, although not a great place to work if you're looking to make it in the Bombay litigation circle - they hardly have any big HC, NCLT matter. But yeah, you'll be able to reserve time for personal stuff.
Negligible presence in Bombay Disputes. No heavy matter in NCLT, HC or SAT being handled by Saraf except legacy matters from Delhi office team
I am an A3 at a Tier-2 law firm. Looking to go for commercial litigation and hoin good Chambers in Delhi HC.

Does Mr. Bakhru pay well and how is the work and working hours? Also, can one take up independent work as well?
Which 3, drop initials. And what happened with Links?
LI kids ought to stop demonising partners. We do the requisite heavy-lifting to keep the industry in a roll. There has been no documented instances of any sane partner physically biting juniors.
The managing partner of every firm has a collection of such vaccines.
Since when does Anagram Partners have a corporate office in Delhi? How/ Who are the Partners? What is the pay??
Heard that the Delhi head with one more equity partner from disputes and three more partners resigned today with teans. Last week some PA also resigned. Then one complete team resigned. Another senior partner also resigned earlier in the year. What is going on there?
This news reports are chilling. Without commenting on the merits of the case, one thing that’s striking is how much personal data HR people have with them. They know details of our family, our personal situation etc.
Jai and Veeru quit.

Gabbar be like...ab mera kya hoga kaalia!!!
Can you please please be more specific about the latter partner, need more clarity since the team is hiring rn
CAM waley first trim the exodus in your ▮▮▮ show ...hear that two ▮▮▮ resigned from your Delhi office today?
No. New music is great. Nothings going to beat macca or Bach but yknow. Some of these younger artists are geniuses in their own right.

Problem is not new music. It’s new movies and tv shows- those are mostly crap.
Any idea when the BO’26 offer letters and joining date for CAM will be released?
They are building a practice. But for any person straight out of law school looking to join, I would say avoid as there isn’t a lot of work ▮▮▮
The original question was whether besides NLSIU, students from any law school gets encouraged to join academia. The answer was geared towards that. You're asking a different question altogether.
I am a 2025 graduate working as a Litigation Associate in a boutique law firm in Mumbai. I want to transition into IPR niche now, how should I do that?
Same for my PA who handles most things independently with very little partner input. Panics like crazy, fumbles, panics more and exaggerates the possible negative outcomes
Delhi Office has 5 partners ahead of the curve. Have abandoned ship !

Few more to follow, IYNYK….
I think the EC meeting happened just recently and I know of one person who did get accepted. Do all acceptances go out together?
Gopal JAIN’s junior Suvarna is doing great. So it is obvious that she is being mentored well by the boss.
Know exactly who you're talking about. Known him forever, he's a solid guy and a brilliant lawyer, you are a ▮▮▮. Get a grip.
Team is unfortunately overcrowded so obviously it affects your growth.
Have heard from someone who did a call back at his team in Feb 2025, that he said that he's not hiring right now, not sure if that's changed since then, has he hired anyone since? Nikhil took a woman from Samvad, but I haven't heard of Jaideep hiring
Panag and Baby- 2 acctually, both from Akash Karmakar's team lpl
If you tell JSA that you are okay with less pay then they’ll hire you immediately
Hi, everyone! wanted to know how's the direct tax team of CAM in the Mumbai office. I know it's pretty lean so do they have enough work? Are they paid at par with other corporate teams? What's the work like? Thank you!
As the title says how can/should a First Gen Advocate approach or look for a litigation chamber in Delhi Ncr with 1 yr PQE?
Are you sure hiring is done? I heard someone got an interview with JJ right now.
I don't know what the right answer is to this, but Trilegal Mumbai is definitely the wrong answer.
Any idea what Reeba Chacko's team is like (with her pool of partners)?
So is he trying to say that Bengaluru juniors clock in more hours than Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata? On what basis?
Just to help a brother out, please lemme know if it's that partner who has left for another T1?
Is it that one partner who has now left for another T1? AT your convenience, please answer.
Has it worked out for anyone where an alumni has helped them get an internship in that law firm just by texting them on linkedin or mailing them? (especially when the alumni and you dont know each other)
Are you a fresher hoping to land a PPO or an associate looking for a switch? It depends on that.
They’re not recruiting recent grads. They’re recruiting oldies when these law schools still had driven students.
Feeling as relieved as when one exerts out a very big fart that one has been suppressing for hours..
Frog and scorpion. Hare and Hound. Feel free to add your animal allegory
How has that actually helped NUJS? The best go out and deadwood keep piling up
Delhi scene is bad. Mumbai and Kolkata has many great chambers. Delhi it’s all about some random law firms operating as chambers.
Don't worry. It is working really bad for all Benches. The way you work with the website is

Open website--> Auto redirect to new website--> Nothing works on new website--> Wait to get to the "Old BHC Website" option
heads the supreme court litigation team. quantitatively decent volume of work, but didnt like the vibe. the associates arent conmmunicative about what they want and then theyll dismiss your work for not being in line with their thoughts. fridays are WFH tho...
Seems like a lot has changed since Fox Mandal - none of this has been true in my experience
If you have a contact, why would you cold-mail. With respect to your question on hiring, that's where luck comes into play because I have no clue if he's expanding immediately.
their linkedin videos look funny, wonder who thought its a good idea
90% of Jindal students are guaranteed success from birth, because they are born in super wealthy and influential families.
what does this mean, can someone please let me know, I've been offered interview.
