The vegetarian options, on the other hand, are often of such poor quality that I've seen people give up vegetarianism due to the lack of choices and willpower to endure it for five years.
This selective activism seems to be a reflection of the dominant woke liberal ideology at NALSAR. While this ideology promotes social justice and equality, it often comes with its own set of contradictions, especially regarding animal rights. The selective compassion these students show likely mirrors broader societal tendencies to prioritize certain issues based on cultural and ideological leanings.
Personally, I find this kind of selective animal welfare activism pretty troubling. I believe all animals deserve the same level of care and respect, whether they're dogs, cats, or any other creature. The selective empathy on display at NALSAR highlights a bigger problem within modern activist movements: the tendency to let cultural and ideological biases dictate which causes to champion, rather than adopting a consistent, universal approach to treating all animals ethically. The real challenge is to encourage a more comprehensive and inclusive view of animal rights, one that goes beyond these selective concerns and embraces compassion for all animals equally.

I used to work at L&L and then S&P and have seen his house. That house alone must be worth 200-300 Cr.
My advice: don't even think about specialising now. Intern in every field until your 7th sem ends, see what you like best (from internships + studies) and then lock it down
Nobody lacks empathy. Not agreeing with your pet causes or how you do your politics doesnt mean people dont have empathy. That kind of binary thinking is really childish. This is a centuries old conflict- you cannot imagine that reasonable people might disagree with you ? How dogmatic and close minded is that?
People arent making jokes to demoralise. What main character energy is it to assume anything the otherside is doing is done by centering your emotional state. If someone expresses a view on this stuff that you dont agree with- theyre not doing it deliberately to cause you mental distress, theyre just speaking their mind. Honestly if youre this immature you should keep quiet and learn more before jumping into political discussions.
Every state in the middle east is an ethnonationalist state. There are no secular states in that region. What Iran, lebanon, syria, egypt, qatar- all of them are religious. Did you know that jews were kicked out and forced out of all of these countries? Should jews have a right of return? Did you know that 20% of people in israel are arabs? that they are free to practice their religion and they serve in the IDF and served in the knesset and sit on the supreme court and vote in elections? Sure doesnt seem like a religious ethnostate now does it?
This kind of argument misunderstands history- a secular democracy like we have in india, or like they have in some parts of the west, is not the original postion- they are aberrations in the course of history- not the norm. The norm has been religious ethnostates. India was almost not a secular democracy itself. Given that israeli citizens have equal civil and political rights despite religion- its doing alright for itself. Not perfect- but at least on the right track.
Hostage negotiations since october have repeatedly failed because Hamas has refused terms. When there was actually a ceasefire and exchange of hostages/prisoners Israel gave away six times as many people for the hostages they could get. The temporary ceasefire came to an end because Hamas fired missiles at israel and then said they couldnt find the rest of the hostages to trade. Its gross misinformation to pretend that israel doesnt want to see the hostages released or to say theyd rather kill their own people when israel is trading six palestinian prisoners for every hostage. Its honestly counterfactual. This is stuff ive picked up just reading the Hindu everyday for the last year.
Whatever you think is the right solution to this problem, wherever your sympathies lie, you cannot have an alternative set of facts. Youre so steeped in propaganda its actually scary, put the phone down and go touch grass, read the damn newspaper.

Start memorising, once you think you have a grasp over some pages, shut everything down and write all that you remember on a piece of paper. This will enable you to identify points you have missed, and also give you confidence to see something tangible from your study. Repeat this until most of the material is covered, and then try to write some answers to past year questions. Doing even some of the above would ensure good marks
Even the great tauji had to retire at 70, menonji also retired at 70 and few months. So, it will be some really big favour that may tilt the balance for NKC to continue beyond 70
I know that as a fresher I'm not of much value to a firm. But the only thing that I can guarantee about myself is that I'm dedicated and a hard worker. I will get the job done even if it requires me to be awake for 48 hours, as I have before.

But don't worry in many states there are many designations in the cadre of ADJ (Entry Grade) are filled only by either retired judges or other govt.
officers (having law degree or dealted law matter min.10-15yr before court or forums) on contractual basis for fixed time period (max. 3yr) like ADJ (Fast Track Courts) in many states, Family Judges (in Maharashtra) & other similar positions like special judges, etc. However these are non-regular posts so benefits like no promotions etc., are quite limited but salary & allowances will given at par ADJ (entry grade).
Furthermore, you will have a better life in Delhi and can easily do internships.
And lol, Israel has backed out of hostage release resolutions 12 times since October, they have literally killed their own people under the excuse of rescuing hostages but still you can’t even condemn Israel. So sad to see Law students be so stupid and disconnected from reality.
However I believe the following options to be superior if you get selected or afford:
1. NLS Bangalore
2. Jindal Global Law School
3. IIT Kharagpur (if you are BTech and apply for LLB in IPR)
4. DU Law Faculty
5. GLC Mumbai
Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore are better cities for study and practice of law. IIT Kharagpur is a great campus to pursue a degree programme.

Indians do integrate better in Western systems because of English and also common law. But the Chinese universities are much more international and the economies of all the countries you name are much more interesting to people from around the world.

CLAT coaching ne tumhe andhere main rakha tha.
NLUO is not worth 2.5 LPA fees.
Level of faculty will be kind of same with more academic rigour at NLUO. Study environment is same at both places, if you want to study you will study, and if you want to smoke up all day, you will do that. So study factor depends on you.
Placement wise there is no history of placements for 3-year LLB in NLUO as their first batch will graduate in 2026, but DU has history.
DU will cost you less and you can intern easily in Delhi. Because in NLUO too, your placement will depend on for how long and where have you interned.
Had it been a 5-year course, my suggestion would have been completely opposite.
NLS is overhyped if people are asking such questions here
