Same reason why many big names that the general population knows for their legal services are not from NLUs, but from GLCs and other colleges. NLUs only came about recently compared to the other law schools in India and abroad. The oldest NLU Alumni of many NLUs are just beginning or in the nascent stage of becoming senior counsels, or starting their own law firms, or becoming vice-chancellors in Universities.
In time, the Harvard name will carry less value, and other Universities from around the world will get their time in the sun. Based on recent news about employers not wanting to hire from Ivy League universities in the US (due to students' "activism>academics" attitude), is just the beginning.
