Not to mention, the UGC mandate is 75%. The only reason for this 85 cut off to ever exist is that christ can squeeze out some more money from us poor students who end up not meeting the 85 criteria. They can just keep extra classes or assignments for those who don't meet the criteria, but they purposefully ensure fines are the route they take. Educate yourself properly please, the situation in Christ is not as simple as you're thinking. Don't blame the students, the students at Christ and genuinely very very dedicated individuals.
What is asked in the HR Rounds
Again, if you actually had a clew of what you were talking about, you would know that there was a scandal involving an SQE provider in which many candidates were mistakenly failed in the SQE, because of some sort of marking system error on multiple choice questions. Those among the impacted candidates who had training contract offer conditions imposed by firms who had either accepted them directly, or after assessing them through a vac scheme, still to fulfil had their TC offers withdrawn by their firms (I don't know exactly how the scandal panned out in the end re those TC offers, but I do know that compensation was offered and those failure records were corrected).
Please, therefore, do not propagate this ill-informed nonsense. Actually understand and read up on what you are talking about.
2 you have to plan for.
5 is a mistake - should have focused more esp since u say u can't afford to take lit because it does not pay much.
None of your solutions are helpful.
Your best bet is to find a boutique that needs folks for corporate work, learn, upskill on the job and then look to work your way up - either at the boutique where you grow or by moving to traditionally tiered firms.
3. Yes. Very. Especially those from India - lawyers from other countries have a sense of loyalty to their fellow nationals and help out, Indians hate other Indians and make it as tough as it possibly can - mostly stonewall.
4. Find employment then worry about salary and perks. Most find below market pay, the ones that are fortunate and connected can find market pay (all start at an A0 level).
1. None whatsoever.
2. LLM + Bar + pure luck (tough for LLMs from India to find opportunities - Indians treat other Indians poorly)
Client drive German cars and Porsches +
PS - Selfish and greedy for money and such luxuries, superficial. Thats what a business is all about I guess

Daant pade to daant hi sahi

Maar pade to wo bhi learning hi hai.
Law firm lawyers don't deserve anything more than 50k p.m. salary.
The timer is divided section-wise and the reference to context and legal reasoning sections are the easiest thing ever.
The second round is chosen area specific. Itβs super simple. Theyβll give you one hypo and 5 questions around the same. 20 mins to answer it. Super simple
Any T1 would do vanilla DD + txn in a 20 to 40 lacs range.

Heard they at par with pune campus. Faculty, exams are same.
Wrt firms like Khaitan and Trilegal, they'll provide you lunches. LKS doesn't have lunches but they have snacks and all which are available to all. I've been to these places so can tell you about them.
No one likes watching sports when people are bad at what they're doing or when they clearly haven't put the work in or where teams are not evenly matched. but I like seeing people excel at things and there are many sports where women excel better than men. And In many sports, the way women play the game is very different from the mens game. And that's interesting to see also.
The mental block you might be having is trying to compare womens physicality to mens and finding all these places where they "fall short" but the truth is women aren't lesser men- they're their own kind of being and it's quite interesting to watch them do their own thing. It's like you're arguing that watching Phelps swim isn't compelling because there are fish that are quicker. or, like saying Usain Bolt shouldn't get paid much because cheetahs can outpace him.
Do you not watch the paralympics because those guys are running on blades? Do you not watch ranji cricket because it's not the world cup? that's a rather sad attitude to have toward sport. But you do you.
Actually - any day of the week I personally would rather watch the women I've named or the sports I've named than watch a five-day test match. It is boring and time-consuming and honestly- cricket as a sport is just not as fun to watch. And that's probably the case for a lot of Indian women who dont like watching cricket. It's just no fun to them I would also rather watch any of the women rather than watch formula 1 races. It is no fun. The problem is no one in sports thinks that is an untapped market that you can persuade to watch sports by figuring out what they like. And because no one tries to market to these women who would otherwise be interested- there isn't enough viewership, and not enough money for sportswomen.
I don't really blame men who don't like watching women's games. I do however blame sporting associations and broadcasting companies who will not try to expand the viewership base and will not try and do better by women who are at the top of their sport.
Imagine if the opposite was true. Imagine if we lived in a world where dancing rather than sports got all this attention and importance and money. Women are superior at dance. Take any kind you like- Bharatanatyam to Ballet, I and everyone I know would rather watch women than men. Now imagine that managers only signed on women, only women got brand deals, only female dancers were encouraged in schools and universities and only female dancers could count on being able to feed themselves from dancing. And imagine when there are amazing male dancers like Gene Kelly or Prabhudeva and they get trashed because they are not as good as the average woman in the Bolshoi Ballet company. would that be fair? Would that not be unfair to men who would be the best dancers of their age because they're being judged by something they aren't physically capable of? Now imagine you read comments about how "hey I have a husband and a son and brothers but men should just not bother with the dancing- why on earth would anyone want to watch that? it's completely fair for these guys to not be able to make a living out of their craft because it bores me personally". Do you think that might make you feel that person was judging unfairly and wasn't taking into consideration that human beings who are talented and hard-working and at the top of their group should be encouraged because it is about human freedom? And maybe men shouldn't be judged by standards that are appropriate for female bodies? Maybe mens dancing looks different and relies on different moves because of their bodies and thats okay?
The thing is dance really is a female-dominated profession- it just doesn't pay well because- well its a female-dominated profession. You might want to ask why cricketers get paid more than dancers while you're thinking all this over.
Section 157 often becomes 175 or vice versa in the exam hall when you're trying to recall the 70 sections that you've somehow managed to cram to the point of the exam.
SAM- Free Breakfast
JSA- they give out food coupons
Can anyone please tell me whether law firms allow internship applications from non-LLB graduates. Specifically firms like Khaitan / LKS / Zeus. Will it make sense for me to apply to these firms.
