Is it financially prudent for me to a buy a fortuner at this stage? I’m planning to take a 5 year car loan for this. My monthly income comes around 2.3l post taxes so I wouldn’t have much problems in paying the EMIs.
Use 20-4-10 rule add up mithai for the team and dont forget interns :)

All the best and congratulations!
do what you like. some will say put in mutual funds some will say invest in real estate. end of day one should do what they like. you'll be using it every day and it it's something that makes you happy, no need to ask here.
What if you are fired? Get PPF, Insurance, House etc. before splurging.
You know it's a stupid decision, that's why you had to ask here. Don't get it
never buy a car that costs more than your annual income
Buy it. I have bought a Toyota Superb at SA2. It costed me around 65 lakhs on road.
Hitting the pipe hard? Toyota doesnt make the Superb.
He means a Superb Toyota. :P Toyota's are meant to be Superb
Hey man, I don’t have really anything constructive to add so as to help you make a decision; but dang you’re living the life
Why are you making law firms sound like a social justice reform? It's a commercial business with profit motives, everyone helps other companies make millions and take a cut of it.
Um? Are you an intern who just studied constitutional law? wait till you work with their clients and know what they gossip about.

PS - Selfish and greedy for money and such luxuries, superficial. Thats what a business is all about I guess
"cars were status symbols for handling billion-dollar deals"

Client drive German cars and Porsches +
You know what they say....Big car.....small......
YOLO and you don't know how long you will live in this day and age, with so much stress . So just splurge, splurge and splurge
Have no knowledge on this but just curious, how much extra would you pay due to the emi?
My in-hand is 2.65 (post tax) and I go to office in kaali peeli.
Alternative suggestion is to buy a car within 15-20 lakhs at SA level. Use it for next 5/6 years and then sell it. You can then buy a luxury car (upwards of 60/70 lakhs) as a PA/Partner.
