Hope someone can answer this please ? Really curious
Please let us know what kind of opportunity was this? Is this a small firm, company or did you start a private practice?
No it won’t. Nls has more brand recognition and better opportunities for growth. Mcc is a big name in Bangalore- but pretty limited in what it can offer you when you get down to it.
Embarassment comes from within.
People might say things, but embarassment is a choice which you make internally.
I personally think there is nothing to be embarassed about. If you want to do this, do it.

I'm a kannadiga, born and brought up in this city and I say "Bangalore".

Also, NLS is better than MCC BA. There may be some running jokes and your batchmates making fun of you, but don't take it to heart.
Graduating from NLSIU is like graduating from IIMA or IITD. It is the best law school in India by miles and a world-class brand. No need to worry at all.
How can you get into NLSIU at 21? I thought the age limit was 20 for general category and 21 for reserved category at the time of taking CLAT? Has the age limit been increased? If so, I should say it is a bit unfair because it means more competition for those leaving school.
CLAT has done away with age limit for the last 5 years. Be more informed.
I thought the admission process is over. What do you mean you got in now ??
Just do it. You only live one life. Do what feels right and stop worrying about things like age. Life is too short to have these kinds of doubts. Just close your eyes and jump. People would kill for the opportunity given to you right now.
Hey did u take admission in nlsiu if yes how's it going
Don't be so harsh on him. This is not about value of the college itself but whether age gap is worth it? That is, whether the value of the college itself makes up for the time (3 /4 years).
Wait, you are in first year of BA at 21, how's that even possible?
I am in a similar predicament too. If I finished my 12th in 2021. And am set to graduate by 2026, if I continue in my current law uni. Even if I crack CLAT this year, by the time of joining the year will be 2025...
As someone who knows about NLS, NLS has a bunch of students who have taken a drop year or even two drop years. There's even been middle-aged adults in the BA LLB batch, No one is going to look at you even slightly differently for being 21 when you start.
