i am an in house lawyer, graduated in 2024 and got placed in a fairly good company. It has been 7 months now and i feel like i am limiting my learning in this company. I am looking to make a switch as soon as i finish 1 year as the pay is also not very nice. I am looking to get into core industries where the exposure is to numerous laws.
Please share your insights.
Also, Ryle afaik is not at Trilegal anymore. Dk who his replacement is.
If you feel you can still try your luck, do that. However, even the HR will say a big no. It is too late.
Maybe try for Crawford, Rajani, Regstreet, Finsec.
Faculty is divided. Most of them are fed up. Any person who is seen as pro student (anti admin) is being targetted.
I guess another NLU going for the race to the bottom.
You need to find people your age, who share similar mentality. If you do go to court, try to interact with peers your age in the court from other firms/ chambers. People you can genuinely speak with without having to think about whether it will affect your promotion/ leave etc or not.
What was his question except a personal identitarian attack that did not address any of her research or argument that she had presented?
I say this as a marxist socialist- identitarian politics is cancer.
It is getting really difficult to get by
Luxury items are out of question, even decent quality basic necessities are becoming out of reach
1 crore a year is definitely rich though unless its some one time income. That’s just stupid to think otherwise lol.

Please don't consider this funny, if you think so.
Thank you.
How many assessment intern do they have and do they really hire them?
Seniors on the OS on other hand doesnt pay. You are expected to follow him/her around initially and wait for the magical day when either he recommends you to a solicitor firm or his solicitor chooses to brief you.

That's like an assassin saying "I'm going to kill you, but I will give you a choice between a beheading or a shootout".
It's a real struggle for young lawyers. Mumbai rents are through the roof, everything else is so expensive.

I think the solution is yoga and meditation.
As a recent joiner, I haven't been assigned a substantial workload, which might be contributing to my dissatisfaction. Furthermore, I'm starting to realize that I may not be genuinely interested in the specific area of law I'm currently working in. I'd appreciate any input or guidance on how to navigate this situation.
While I agree tax rates should be reduced till certain bracket, reducing tax rate to 20% till 1 crore is just ridiculous. 1 crore is about USD 116,000 that’s more than average salary in US and will put you just under top 20 percentile in USA. Adjust for PPP that’s more than USD 417000 easily putting you in top 2% of US, this is by no means middle class.
Season greetings! Can someone please provide real salary for A1/A2 level in B&F team at law firms in Delhi.

Considering the highly selective nature of these pursuits, I wish to understand the wisdom guiding some of the decisions surrounding the Adani case:
