We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

You can still become a very good lawyer. And make decent money. Many many lawyers make decent money and do decent work. But honestly the odds of any one of us ending up on the SC is slim to none.
Thanks in advance!
Best chance of you is becming judge by taking PCS-J exam and then you might take HJS route to possibly elevate to HC.
“Medicine, law (assuming in india pun intended), business, engineering, these are all noble pursuits, and
necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.”

I've heard they don't pay their assessment interns? Is it true?
It is good to see this thinking coming out in public. State NLUs must stop this nons**se practice immediately both at UG and PG levels voluntarily before being forced by the SC.
(1) Ph.D. admission in ‘Law‘ and ‘Social Sciences, Humanities and Public Policy’ are currently open at NLSIU. See the notification at << https://www.nls.ac.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Notification-PhD.pdf >>
Last date to apply is 23 February 2025.
From this year, they have also introduced their own doctoral fellowship amounting to 50,000 INR.
(2) Ph.D. admission in ‘Law’ at RPNLU will open on 1 June 2025. See the notice at << https://www.rpnlup.ac.in/rpnlup-introduces-ph-d-in-law/ >>
IMPORTANT: Please note that every NLU has its own academic calendar according to which it admits Ph.D. applications during the year. As a result, unlike in B.A.L.L.B. admissions, there is no single timeline for Ph.D. admissions in NLUs. For instance, the last date for NLU Delhi’s 2025 Ph.D. admissions has already passed. You will be well advised to regularly check the individual NLU websites for the same.
Hope this helps.

Its no use to allege privilege until you can substantive describe how it works and how much of an impact it had in any individual achieving anything. all it does is make you look like youre sour someone else did something you didnt.
Its worthwhile to talk about inequality of access to opportunity in society. I do so all the time, its not useful to try and pull down folks who have worked hard to get ahead in some sort of race to the bottom.
2. You have absolutely no evidence of privilege. Prove it to us: put family bank statements on a Google Drive or even give his childhood address. You can do nothing of the sort. I would say that is evidence enough. Why can't you provide one drop of evidence instead of insinuations. And even if you are genuinely a person with merit and trying to shame people who look at careers beyond India by these tactics, that is equally bad. The fact that even one person like you exists in India, combined with its other problems, I would say makes it a very unattractive place for clever people to be in. You deserve the ad hominem you are getting, if not worse.
Immigration. Jews fleeing the holocaust were given permission by the state to enter and were given citizenship.
