Think KCO uses KAI. Donโ€™t know how effective it is. May be someone from KCO can say
Maybe. I have never seeked help or mentorship so I can't really say. I am talking more about my immediate seniors. Older alums I haven't met any to make any claims.
Litigation if money is really not an issue (paying loans or supporting family). It beats everything else hands down. It is what law is. Else, look for jobs.
Please throw some light on decent banking teams at Mumbai offices. Also which ones to avoid? I am A2 from tier 2/3 banking in Delhi. I prefer good work culture and good team over marquee deals.
Quite a find, that looks legit. Just for the record, in case it is not obvious, lots of people are mentioned in the files and just appearing in one of the files is far from any wrongdoing or imputation of guilt, etc, especially in this case.
4 NALSAR (AZB, Trilegal, KCO, and one other) with 3 vac schemes
A4 at T2 here. I have these vivid fantasies where I thrash the PA. I plan to quit anyway. I know it's career suicide but I've accumulated enough money and am gonna manage my family business anyway. It'll be fun. Kindly Advise.
What is the scnario of KCO Mumbai GC ?? How is the work culture and what work do they majorly give, is there any chance of hiring??? Please do lmk
What kind of moderation is this? The message has had words redacted to completely alter its original intent, conveying the complete opposite?
CAM Blr pays the standard payband, while SAM Blr is 30% less than its Delhi/Mumbai counterparts.
Interviewing for L&E team and wanted to know what questions can be asked at junior level

Thank you!
Can someone please honestly tell me about some good M&A teams in KCO Mumbai, work culture, hours etc.

Need to get away from a shitty job and this might bring some respite. Also, what is their interview process like?
Dude, if you think everyone is dying to be an engineer, you have some of the most cliched middle class lack of imagination possible. Cannot imagine what kind of a bore you're going to be.
So what an average package a student can expect in Glc with good internship experience and good grades?
A precedence in oneโ€™s favour put one miles ahead of the counter party
Dawg please tell me there is hope for securing internships via cold-mailing and cold DM. I feel shit scared trying to imagine life in a tier 2 private university for corporate.
Trayosha (GNLU, Harvard, Ex-SEBI) is champion.

Suvojit is also very good, also expect a lot of gyan on running for free as fitness is his focus area nowadays.
Bump!
any possibility of hiring? Nikhil made a massive post and test about it as well but no update since then
Great scope and the law is constantly evolving! Has a huge scope for upcoming young lawyers. If not interested in the legal practice, one can do some courses and end up being a Resolution Professional.
With multiple other languages. Its not only Hindi but a set of languages, which is official language. And before you jump in, I speak Hindi and English fine. So I'm not a language warrior but thought of clarifying inaccuracy.
I think between 70k to 80k, although they will make you work late nights and weekends and get more than their money's worth out of you.
I can see similarities between investment bankers and my real estate broker. Sab to dalal hi hai.
Not a bad idea but if you are already working in a t1-IP firm, donโ€™t think work should be a problem. Or, maybe try considering the TMT team of your firm itself, if it has one.
Ayooo relax kid. No one cares about 12th board exams after you have college degree. Best guy I knew had to repeat year 12. He did the whole thing - NLu, llm abroad etc . Just keep focusing on how to improve yourself rather than what you do wrong
Actually plenty is. Many of these departments wouldnโ€™t select a phd student who isnโ€™t the most fringe version of a left wing activist. Thereโ€™s bias in who they hire. This has been known for a long time.
Jindalโ€ฆ Great campus life and every other week youโ€™ll get a notification to apply for a summer school or short term study program in an international university. If youโ€™ve got the money you can really have fun
Why do we people at T1 firms act so hostile and unwelcoming to new joinees? At the end of the day even we are humans!
Is hiring scene of 2027 bad? Which T1/T2 firms and practice areas have a hiring freeze?
tbh its kinda hard to deal with them because they come out on top, and they are very, and i MEAN very difficult to read and understand
There were rumours of someone becoming the registrar. Seems the tumours weren't entirely correct.
How was life after you got a PPO? Did you end up losing friends?
I'm sorry, could you DM me somewhere, perhaps on Reddit? u/Previous-Whereas3707 about the admin, would love to know the entirety.
The difficultly was moderate I'd say. I'm in the same boat as you though, gave the exam as an appearing candidate and sat for maine yesterday even though I'm not eligible this year. Probably will help me in the next recruitment cycle.
CAM because of its narrow minded policies and leadership is losing out on good performers. People no longer want to live lives in servitude. Smaller platforms are outshining. Soon Yash will leave. So will Manan. Winter will come and all will be lost in the North.
Bhai / behan, B&F stay away from B&F. In India it's just long hours and nothing else. Majority of the work is dry, lifeless and boring. That said, if you like it, good for you. (But please tell me why you like it?)
Thank you for your candid and realistic assessment. As a follow-up, I wanted to ask specifically about prospects in EU and Australia, from the perspective of working in law firms rather than going solo.
LLM Which NLU/pvt university has the best campus life and people

MBA ke jaisa mohaul ๐Ÿคก sorry priorities of someone w a shit ug of 5 years :/
Singapore legal marked is over saturated and the market functions at this scale only because of Indian and Chinese parties
How is Manavโ€™s team and Roshanโ€™s team? Have heard that Manav and Roshan work together. Is this true?
Try Garrison Talent- they're small but very kind and effective. They hear you out very nicely
Choose a chamber instead, intern there and they'd likely absorb you.
How do they know about your diagnosis? Did you bring it up with your boss?
I expected DPDP, but the questions honestly mostly needed ipr knowledge; some were common sense based on the passage given though
But do Tier-1 firms offer immigration services to their clients? I thought their L&E teams work more on actual labour law issues
Like what? Advancing humanity by helping it to colonize other planets through designing intergalactic space ships? Finding a cure to cancer? Devising a theory on quantum gravity? What are the great avenues for rando law grads other than the two means to actually practice law?
As someone in tta, youโ€™re better off not joining here considering theyll still pay peanuts at 14+2โ€ฆ
Singapore, Dubai look for places that dont insist on local qualifications as a starting point. Honestly, any place is better than India.
What if I know a foreign language and have finished B. A LLB?

What career opportunities can I pursue?
Got a late start. Have 6 months experience in a very niche practice area (at a T2) I donโ€™t have much interest in. However, I have some due diligence experience to show. How to switch out?
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... the mentality that holds back India's potential to be Singapore on a gigantic scale.
I guess this list shall also include Singapore for its strong presence in Arbitration and Commercial Litigation in general.
The answer to OP is our parents did NOT have more fun, they only had less competition. They grew up in an ultra-conservative, ultra-patriarchal and technologically backward society. That's not a recipe for fun.
What a sad sad reality. Feedback means nothing in these places. They don't even maintain anonymity properly when upward feedback is given.
They have a lot of deals and good place to learn, you just need to stay away from politics.
This mindset is exactly what is wrong with a large group nowadays, who completely downplay the importance of English and the need to master it, despite the fact that our laws were drafted in English.
Let's please bring back attention to the students that have done so well? And no, the mooting system replacing midsems is not what HNLU's mooting peak should be credited for
The collective wealths "Amarchands" and "Khaitans" are closer to you and me in money and relevance than they will ever be to the multimillionaire elite club.
Hi I have an upcoming slot there for an assessment there, can you please share your insights briefly, it will greatly help me in my decision making
A lot of boutique CM practices heavily rely on PR marketing tactics to generate business, that's all. Plus as an intern, your learning curve would be substantially higher than that of an associate due to first mover advantage
Yes they have. all three were associates. you need to lie about things that a simple LinkedIn search will disprove.
I'm a recent NLS graduate. None of the observations you mention have been true in my experience.
