Few things to consider, I am myself considering moving out of law due to WLB issues. From my brief interaction with folks these are the things that I found
1. Lawyers are at a disadvantage due to non quant background when it comes to granting jobs
2. Consulting is most preferred area and that is as bad as law firm when it comes to WLB
3. Be very sure whether you want to do MBA or not unless money is not an issue. No point spending lakhs again to do similar kind of job

You can use a few years of experience in “business” of law (rather than law itself) and then go for MBA. You’ll get more value from MBA that ways.
Also if you stick you get decent WLB but less pay.
