But Amit Sibal is seen much more. Most of the famous corporate cases has Amit as one of the lawyers.
Do you really think it is Ravi, who wrote the comment? Can understand the reason why they are treating you badly
Are there any interview red flags you can think of? I interviewed less than a week ago- I think it went all right but I am extremely nervous about the results. Also- any idea about when NLS usually gets back to people and do they also let people know if they are not selected?
the NLUJ antitrust moot hits less than half of that (around 40) even with extended deadlines, cant comment about exact details but no moot is crossing a 100 esp when they dont have prelim rounds guranteed and locked behind a memo qualifier.
I wish to join litigation after graduation. Can anyone suggest any good chambers in Delhi to intern with?
I am an SA 2 in a big 4. Can vouch the college is doing well. My firm has good number of students from Christ and we go for placements as well. Guess, it's the most under rated college.
Yes. They are answerable to their fellow equity partners and (if it gets to that) their creditors. Not prospective employees.
Bump! Can someone please tell me if Hemant Krishna's team is hiring and what the expectations in experience are?
theyre not even interviewed often! candidates more qualified than the ones hired are not even shortlisted! and shortlisting criteria are never made public, decisions never explained!
You’ve got it wrong. Akhil Sibal is currently the premier counsel in the Delhi High Court, much more in demand than his brother. Amit Sibal seems to be trying to make a transition to the Supreme Court now.
I have actually defended Sudhir on this website many many times. I personally know of two senior academics who were extremely qualified who were treated appallingly by NLS administration in different hiring cycles. I wish this wasnt true about him but it is.
Stae followed by road followed by colony....why stop just there. Kaam to hai nahin koi...kaam.to karna nahin koi..bas yeh sab xhutiyaap karte raho aur banate raho logon ka xutia....
All of them offer great learning experiences to begin with. Get into any of them and then switching to another due to specific interest in a particular subject becomes easier.
The only name-change NLSIU should undergo, if the Krishnaswamy reforms are to be there long-term, is from "NLSIU" to "NULSS" (National University of Law and Social Sciences).
Decolonise history or fabricate and misinterpret it using his baised opinions presented as facts?
Who gives a shit about the opinion of a prospective intern? You have no clue and are guessing. STFU and go back to studying.
Max people go to sg from there only or TT&A only bombay offices
Usually when you move from a tier 1 law firm to in house - you gotta take a paycut - sometimes upto 50%.

How did you avoid the paycut? What's the strategy?
Since someone was kind enough to talk about their transition from T1 to in-house, I would be more than happy to talk about my recent transition from T1 to Counsel practice.

AMA!
He's not a hatemonger. He was officially designated senior advocate. Top law firms of India brief him. He's an acclaimed author who's trying to decolonize history
Why are you discriminating between Tier 1 firms and Tier 2 / 3 firms? Go and join the latter, be equitable
Five Year Law at GLC Mumbai or ILS Pune (Not any other college in MHCET) should be preferred over 3 year BA and 3 year LLB in DU. You study integrated course and save one year time.
Is Christ Bangalore better than Symbi Pune ?

What about the NCR one ? Is Christ Noida better than Symbi Noida.
the op has no issues paying registration fee. The problem arises only when the fee for the accommodation is taken at the registration of moot and if the team does not qualify for the rounds which requires physical presence then why it is not refunded.
How is he as a counsel? Is his chamber a good one? - mentorship and pay?
Is there any vacancy in tax teams across law firms for 0-2 PQE
The Christ is doing quite well when compared to other law schools. I have been part of the placement cell and tell you that it has been good. The College is a bit conservative in terms of student's freedoms and stuff but it gives you exposure.
Old news, just go through the other S&R thread on this site.
Stopped reading your comment after “Top colleges like…SLS” lol!

Tell me you know nothing without telling me you know nothing 😂😂
Definitely way easier to get a job in another t1. Once you are in one t1, it takes almost nothing to move to another one. Moving in house to a profile that works for you takes patience and intense search.
Do they give stipends to interns selected through assessment test, if anyone who got internship through assessment test, can confirm please?
JSD got cancelled because he is an empty vessel that makes a lot of sound. not everyone who are against him are with mamta. ofcourse, binaries are just about the maximum that the best of right wing intelelctuals in india are capable of wrapping thier brains aorund.
not sure, i think their official statement on linkedin had info regarding the teams that will be sitting in chennai though
Yes…It was earlier called White & Brief’s Sidebar, which eventually broke up due to internal conflicts. They have project infrastructure work but not many experienced people.
Poor communication skills and social anxiety mean total failure in this profession. Better choose any other profession.
Quality work but only consider joining if you are fresher who doesn’t need that much handholding
im SLSP BO'27

Are things likely to improve by next year? Any inputs would be appreciated
hello,

anyone who has landed a ppo from tier 1 can let me know how?? who to approach how it starts whom to talk to?? how long it takes if its one internship only at a firm
This is still okay. I know lawyers who've earned crazy wealth just by getting you discounted rates for senior counsels.

You hire them pay them retainer and they get the best senior counsels in discounted rates. That's all that they do!?
Lucio is pretty bad. It is just a bad ChatGPT free version. They have raised funding and are distributing iPads abroad. That’s the NLS privilege. I know them personally all talk no show.
There is no formal PPO process. Impress in your internship and you get an offer.
The employers have the right to decide their hiring criteria. These are private firms, they can hire whoever they wish to on whatever basis they fancy.
As it happens, I agree with your statements re: PhD. But what proof do you have that "connections" are getting some people in?
You are so loyal to JSD, why don't you get your own stipend from him? Hatemongerers should not be given any space in universities.
Because teaching experience means zilch if you cannot convince people at the interview during the demo sessions that you can teach and explain well.
As you said bvp is almost nowhere that's what makes me anxious as to what the heck are people doing after graduating. What's the point if I save my 1 year and be like them ie nowhere.
What’s their core focus? How are they perceived in the market? How is the team?
RMC pulled 30 odd placements for 2026 jindall batch I heard in dec-feb. Is this true? What is the total count
As an A2 at CAM with a 5 rating , I will be making around 27 lakh this year. not sure what I will make as an A3.
Rashmi is a gem of a person and a boss. One can’t be more thankful to work with her.
Og commenter here, it's Wadia Ghandy. LI, for the sake of the innocents, don't delete this.
I know how LLMs work.

I have a pro plan and yes technically these companies might be doing wtv the fuck they want with our data and we would NEVER know but if you look at the contracts, they legally cant.
lol how does it matter, a KCO A0 is still making the same as SCAM/AZB A2s, angoor khatte hain
They are a promising up and coming firm. but only hire if you have interned with them.
Hiring will generally be low in Boutique or smaller law firms. But I have heard they pay about 50k for freshers.
Are you a law graduate? If so, could you please share some insights? I am seriously considering a career in law, and I want to understand the likelihood of unemployment in this field as a person with poor skills in English and with social anxiety.
It's important to have a supportive partner. Single people are more likely to get depressed. But it's hard to find a soulmate!
If you want the actual tea on this, Gopal Sankaranarayanan was first choice for this and he said no. He has appeared for Bengal and Abhishek for the last 5 years, and was recommended by Singhvi. This can be cross checked.
And speaking of them as mentors, their juniors Shrutanjaya (Rank 1) and Trisha (Rank 4) cracked the AoR exam this week!
