I have the same doubt. Is NISM worth it? I see that people get placed with BSE and NSE after placements.
Less than 12 lpa, plus you will be management trainee for about an year before converting.
The problem with NLSIU is the fees. It's fricking 6 lakhs for one year. NALSAR and NUJS are around 2 lakhs which seems way more reasonable to me.
Go for LLM if you are aiming for government jobs only. You will get preference with masters degree.
Which jobs?

Regulatory sector only ask for your LLB degree. Masters is only listed as preferred everywhere. I mean it might give you an advantage in your interview if you did your LLM from a reputed university but it's not a big enough factor.
Regulatory don't even look beyond CS qualified professionals. NISM LLM is the only way one get into the sector.
I'm only targeting government jobs and judiciary is it practical for me to get into NISM or give Clat PG this year? I'm not looking for placements.

But I think NISM syllabus will help with regulatory exams?
