NUJS Kolkata, NLU Delhi, ILS Pune and Nalsar Hyderabad, which represented India at the world rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, made the country proud with two teams breaking into the last sixteen, six speakers finishing in the top 100 oralists and three teams winning top memorandum awards.

HNLU Raipur finished runners up at the Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot and jumped from the eleventh position to the fifth position in the MPL 2 standings sponsored by Allen & Overy. Meanwhile Symbiosis, Pune won its first moot this season at the GH Raisoni Moot over its neighbouring college.

International magic circle law firm Allen & Overy has endowed the second season of the Mooting Premier League (MPL) with a generous sponsorship of Rs 1.2 lakh (£1,600) that will be shared between the best mooting colleges at the end of the season.
