My experience as a law student

Experiences make a person what he or she is mainly in his thoughts and ideas.

Thoughts and ideas may not remain same all the time but they may as well change with the experiences that a person may undergo in his life especially during the crucial stage of his career because it is at that stage where he or she has to think about his bread and butter in future life and how will the person feed his spouse and children.

What do you think should be more important for a humble student who is persuing his studies in law?

Nothing but his progress in studies.

I am an under graduate law student who started his legal studies from S.D.M Law College, Mangalore but could not co-op up there due to no residential facility for law students and inadjustment due to ill health. The college no doubt i liked but had to leave due to health reasons and come back to dharwar, the place where i got my early primary, secondary and intermediate education and have my family over here in dharwar. I got my fresh admission done in Karnataka university college of Law, Dharwar and now i'm in third year of 5 year LL.B course.

We are originally from purvanchal region but i was born and brought up in karnataka. I was born on 15th Feburuary 1992 in Bangalore, Karnataka and settled in Dharwar district of Karnataka where i got my education.

Now comming back to the experience as a law student, ive many things to write and tell the society but ive no platform. Because im quiet and sober i have not even been told about inter college competitions and inter state competitions where i thought that i deserved to participate.Im unable to participate in moot courts because of existing favouritisms obviously caste bias. One student party comprising very few makes a group of their own friends and the college just allows them to go every time and no body even bothers that others also deserve chance. Is our Indian constitution meant only to be studied by law students to pass in the examinations and law teachers to just preach during their subject hours?

If i try to have fun it offends them because im not their favourite but few whom they like due to caste bias can.

Even though ive spent all my life here and am a student of this institution

ive no chance of participation even in arranging moot court fests in my own college

last year when i was in 2nd year one teacher started asking me in the class

Which place you originally come from?

I revealed my roots

then he asked me why the hell are you comming here

I was dumstuck no words to say

CONSTITUTION HAS GIVEN FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO ITS CITIZENS TO SETTLE ANY WHERE IN ANY PART OF INDIA

AND LIVE LIFE OF DIGNITY BUT SADLY WE HAVE FAILED TO FOLLOW WHAT WE OURSELVES PREACH.
