Sure, that might be very true, though we're not aware of the gender, age or identity of the other mods :) But we also deploy various technical means to regularly identify and block spammers and actors posting disingenuously, and that post was flagged by those systems.
If you have any technical reason that you know of that the post might have been flagged incorrectly, please let us know.
There are at least 3-4 moderators now, in this case we all discussed and agreed that the post was a clear attempt at trolling, so please give us the benefit of the doubt that it was the correct decision unless you have any factual information to the contrary.
The usual provisos and common-sense safety rules apply about contacting anyone online of course, and especially if arranging to meet if they are anonymous, as here. Always ensure that the first times you meet in a public place, and a trusted third party always knows where you are and is kept in the loop.
There is no preference accorded to usernames but the comments not published in this thread were all trollish or personal attacks. Please express yourself more diplomatically and more on points of facts.
Whatever is going wrong, is definitely not the moderator's fault and more likely a tech or other issue... Generally comments shouldn't be disappearing though - very occasionally we will delete comments in case of duplicate comments, or spam, or completely irrelevant stuff (rather than unpublishing / unmoderating them), but generally they should be visible as unmoderated.
