Have come across very few who are confirmed of a ppo until this winter. Some team on different law schools on the PPO scene is much appreciated, considering the fact that fresher recruitment is at an all time low across most law firms
We are discussing T1 hiring and not T3 and boutiques.
One NUAlS guy from 2027 has a confirmed ppo from barucha
very few? I know of only 2 t-1 PPOs so far- one from NLUD and other GNLU. Both were referrals as well.
Talwar Thakore & Associates, a T2 firm that always makes the first offers every ppo season
Bump! What's the scene at NLS, Nalsar, NUJS, GNLU? Heard its gloomy everywhere
only one ppo at nlsiu at tta that too, one tc at hsf so far.
NLS seems to be doing well rn, 3 more ppos already confirmed, many on the way
3 PPOs at GNLU. KCo., Indus and Kochhar (reference). Links offer is likely, just a matter of time.
Hiring freeze for freshers. Firms have decided to be middle heavy, since AI has ensured that the days of freshers/ junior dependent commoditized legal services are over.
lmao how will this model continue to work if majority of the freshers continue to be unemployed and never turn into mid-level associates
They have recruited enough people over the years, also tier 1s can easily hire laterals from tier 2s and 3s, if the need arises. The long and short of it is advisory as a commercially viable service offering is coming to an end.
but again, for how long, they will eventually run out of laterals and not every lateral wants to start as A0
GNLU has 7 PPOs (TT&A (2), Indus, Kco, Kochar, S&R) 1 links vac scheme, & more 5 in pipeline.
GNLU has 8 PPOs now (TT&A (2), Indus, Kco, Kochar, S&R, Anagram) 1 links vac scheme, & more 5 in pipeline.
NLIU has quite a few PPOs compared to last year,

2 Saraf

1 TTA

1 Indus

1 S&R

2 Trilegal

2 more from trilegal incoming

Thats 7+2 before June ends
