The only reason it did not happen this year was the lack of adequate time. For Dec 2024 (CLAT 2025) it is a given. Now I am LOLing.
one. do your own research. Or two. Suggest me some tried and tested old topics of IL that has been done by majority.
Shouldn't we do things that are innovative or current in trend then the same old jurisdiction and icc and icj and how unsc is failing us. Same crap over and over.
Also there's something called comparative international law. Google it. Byeeeeee
A key factor is the expense, Slsp is more expensive than TNNLU. So many people who find it difficult to afford slsp have chosen TNNLU. Please make a decision based on your financial situation and location. Factors like food, climate, language etc might seem trivial in the beginning but it may affect your overall college experience. Hope this helps.

If you must go to NUJS, my advice is to rent a PG with a good family. Saltlake is a residential neighbourhood with some nice homes and apartments. The owners are often retired IAS officers, judges, corporate executives etc, whose houses have spare rooms as their children have moved out of the state for lack of economic opportunities.
It’s high time the admin and SJA start a system where students can stay with such families.

For women especially, people will just assume you must be dumb. I say this because when I get fat, people smile at me less and don't do things for me so much but they don't treat me like I must be stupid.
So yeah I don't know. Is it worth getting free drinks and tables in crowded restaurants if you attract the wrong kind of people and everyone assumes you are dumb?
I’m a 2nd year student from a t-1 NLU and I’ll be starting my corp. law internship somewhere around may next year. I have recently finished my SC internship under the ASG of India and the work I got there was included mere copy-pasting LODs and 1-2 lines opinions, from which I learned absolutely nothing that would add up to my knowledge. Plus, while I was observing the court proceedings and the general court environment, I’ve come to a conclusion (after having done internships at HC and District Court as well) that Litigation is not for me as it’s a complete hassle and I want something that is more steam lined and straightforward as a career path and I believe a job in corporate law would suit my needs.
Things only get worse from here, when your reach said college and realise how smart merit people actually are. They'll be the ones winning all competitions, answering in class, getting amazing internships right from first year (more often than not, merit people also have better contacts), and getting respectable batch ranks. There'll be a few outliers here and there, but this is the trend that'll follow. You will find it impossible to cope, however you can combat this by putting that work in which merit student had to put in the entrance exam, all throughout five years.
t. SC dude, top3 t1 college
1. Seniors, what are some good places to hang out near NLUJ? Like where do you guys usually go out to chill? (I heard something about an SDL park). And how is the city of Jodhpur in general? Are there enough walkable places to explore?
2. Is managing the exam schedule as difficult as it is made out to be? And with the new VC are there any changes expected?
3. Should I prefer BBALLB over BALLB? Or is the faculty/situation different from before?
4. Do you guys have any group of sorts to help juniors? (Like some seniors at NLIU/NUJS seem to have created one for their juniors)
Very obviously a large chunk of the population is not getting jobs. What's the solution? Population control? Universal basic income? China-like policies to encourage manufacturing?
iPleaders got 20 lakhs more awarded in arbitration post settlement agreement, which was breached by NUJS after paying a part of the 1.3 cr dues under the settlement agreement
This is also recorded in arbitration award
But thats not HC order, HC never asked to pay anything to iPleaders
HC order is to finish courses and give certificates. When is NUJS doing that? And if its case is that because of iPleaders it is unable to give certificates where is that case being made?
NUJS owes us a certificate so better pay it instead of sending representatives on LI threads 🫣
They first said course is illegal shut it down
Then on HC bench they revived it
And now back in EC they are saying don’t implement it
You are such a genius I can understand who you are even though you are anonymous 🤫
2. Domicile 988 is unusual, but the choice has got more to do with all the bad press that NUJS gets than any real change in things. The grads are still doing the same as the last few years.
3. How? There are only 1/3 AIR gen seats at NLS now despite the increased batch strength of 300? I am assuming you meant only AIR gen seats. What's the last seat NLS domicile category got?
4. More to do with brainwashing of students by coaching centres, which is why these choices alone don't make much of a difference unless the university bucks up and uses the better students that it is getting to become better and deliver better performance.
5. Okay.
is it same across all the teams?
However, no judgment here! It's a good question and if that motivates you then go for it.
First year is generally a wash since you will be new to money and unless you are very good with it, you will lose a significant chunk buying up all the things that you wish you could buy by yourself (this doesn't apply if you already come from a fairly well off family in which you wouldn't be asking this question). With that said, you could probably do a decent Thailand type trip on a cost effective budget if you wanted to.
The other problem with first / second year is that you will drowning with work most of the time, won't have visibility on when you will get time off and unless you are very very good to begin with, you won't have the ability to string that much time together off (since you will not have built credibility yet).
For what its worth, I got to on a BD trip right in the beginning of my second year - but that was largely as a reward for doing something spectacular on a deal. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy it, but truth be told, I would have appreciated getting compensated in cash instead.
I ended up doing a bunch of trips in/around India, Nepal etc. in the first three years. In my fourth year, I did a Europe trip - that was a decent and long. That was great!
After that, I have done on average in a year - one big vacation abroad and 1-2 smaller vacations in India. The real joy starts after you make PA, because then you can (if you have saved right) travel in comfort (once you go business, you never go back), stay in good places (nice hotels / airbnbs) and generally travel when you plan for it (as opposed to when you suddenly find youself free).
Now a days, I plan for the two big vacations in a year and work takes me whenever it does (but that is rarely a perk now).
Feel free to ask follow up questions.
Thats why i am firm supporter of Population proportionate quota in armed forces, 85 percent in armed forces must be reserved. So less young UC blood is shed. There must be concession given to reseved categories in physical criteria and north south and eastern representation ought to be maintained too afterall northie shouldn't have it all .
Recently UP Police recruitment came out, there were relaxation in even chest size 😅😅😅. I dont know what to say lol. But yes less UC blood need to be shed.
1. Air 8 choosing GNLU. An amazing improvement in terms of prestige this year, GNLU has shown remarkable improvement in the merit lists and will show its charisma in the alter lists as well.
2. Nujs domicile till 988 already, we all know the college is going downhill (and my post is already downvoted by more than 30 Noojies) but hear me out. This is outrageous! A college of this level. This year the general domicile and nri sponsored cut for nujs off will be relaxing.
3. NLS didn’t surprise. Closed at AIR 97.
4. MNLU Mumbai stays consistent. However, the kind of students it receives every year- it just fails to produce the same outcome. What’s surprising is that they closed well even before 600.
5. More dramatic twists will be seen at NRI-S and further provisional lists. Let’s see what happens.
I am interested in criminal litigation in Hyderabad. Just wanted to know if one can establish a decent practice while also remaining ethical. By ethical, I mean not engaging in corruption/ fixing judges. Also, who are some good lawyers for criminal law in Hyderabad? Slightly junior names would also be useful.
Thanks!
Go at your own risk to

Better go to a degree college in DU or your own city and pursue 3 year LLB.
I work in T1, I smoke Advance
Fests wise, odd semester is not that happening in NLUO, but even sem is because of a lot of events like Freshers, IMAM, IUDC, Kairaan, Viraj, Farewell, etc. It gets tough to even study in the even sem.
Placements wise, again NLUO is far better than RML, check the LinkedIn handle of RCC, there you will get the data.
Hostels are good, you will get individual room from your 2nd year. There are now allotment on basis of need, so basically if you are from Cuttack/Bhubaneswar, most probably, you will not be getting a room in the hostel. Mess is getting problematic, earlier, on Girls' was pathetic, now with BO'25 handling the Boys' mess, this mess too is going down the drain.

NLU Sonipat started in 2019 and their first batch is yet to graduate, go to a more established NLU as you have the option. If location is on significant concern, then go to RGNUL, it is not much far from Sonipat.
I am currently a student and I am preparing for CLAT 2025 so please if you can help me juggle my class and CLAT studies together by a scheduled timetable with time allotments for each CLAT subject{just an example} and after CLAT which NLU should I choose for my judiciary preparation. Is choosing the MNLU Nagpur llb judiciary course worth it? Also, one last question which state would be best for better career advancements (like promotion on merit stuff ).
Thank you
Also, if you started smoking in law school- and still are, have your tastes changed?
2. Agreed, don't know about UK FTA
3. Modi will have an easy win, Trump might be the more popular candidate but the bureaucracy won't let him win.
4. Lol, won't even be close to America and China
5. Don't care
Dont sugarcoat, there is only one objective to caste census and everybody knows it. Why hind behind any excuse? Khul ke bolo 60 percent desh hamara hai hume hissa chaiye.
UC will then realize that it needs it separate own pan identity and the caste tribalism that upper caste is loosing will come back again. Others never left their caste tribalism while we are loosing it. We just need right direction to get it back, and that direction is caste census and 100 percent reservation. It already is 60, so just need one push. Will be very interesting to see what it unfolds, it may bring some upper caste genocide here and there but it will be interesting sight to watch. We must foget western notion of individualism on which mordern countries are found. And embrace Indian state adopted notion of seeing us through group on individualistic level too.
Your tribe should be your first and foremost identity. It is for others but UC was lacking it, looks like we will be back. But seriously for an OBC his being OBC must matter and he must hate other especially which they do and same is applicable to others. Caste tribalism is needed to fight caste tribalism, you cant fight it out through other means. Imo but my point is only concerning my biradari UC and not others. One always is concerned for their people's well being and existence.
We consist of various ethnic groups like Africa, it doesnt hurt to be like them.
I hope freedom of speech is allowed on this platform.
