I’ve met many Gen Alpha kids. Nice, grounded, sensible. Their screen time is strictly regulated by parents. Not woke and entitled like Gen Z.
Anyone know Bombay Law Chambers, Mumbai, current mail ID of HR?
SAM is notorious for doing this. your training guide and everyone will give you hope, and then later the HR will just say no you're not recommended.
CAM does send out rejection mails post interviews. Not sure about the others.
WHY ? YOU CAN'T JUST SCREEEEAM AND NOT TELL US THE REASON!!!
What if I am not good enough for the top ones ? I've given an interview everywhere and haven't gotten selected. That why tier 2-3 or private is my only option.
Will do this. But usually what is the time one should wait for after an A0 Interview. As I don't want to miss deadlines on my other commitments, if in case I don't get responses for follow ups too, when should I consider this opportunity missed?
Some of you will say go to a Senior Advocate if you wanna learn, but senior advocates don’t pay that kind of money.
Even I wanna know because I want to work with such partners from whom you can actually learn.
came here to say this! santosh at nlu delhi has a separate fanbase
I recently gave an interview for the competition law team (April 2026). Still haven't heard back from anyone and have been told that the position is on hold. Any idea about this?
Have they started rolling them out for any law school's BO27?
It's a dog fight while wearing a coat.

If you can stay for a minimum of 5 to 7 years, you can do this
I was comparing the drafting and research memo of draftbotpro and urava.app

draftbotpro UI was better

But I found more verified citations, and much more accurate results on urava.app
With the term of existing VC already ended, who could be the next in line?
hi has anyone worked at RPV Legal Delhi? Can anyone tell about their experience their and how much do they pay A-0 assosiates?
May God give you strength. Moderator pin this thread. Let community help this nluits
I have an internship lined up there in Mumbai, any thoughts on the team?
Any one Interned at Renata Partners? How is work culture? Does they pay any stipend?
1. It's a very long way, everything falls into place. So focus on health. Take out time to workout no matter what.

2. Do not let the stress lead you into smoking or drinking. You're going to be in this profession for 30+ years. This cannot be the way you cope.
There are still some decent folks left. Till when now that is anyone's guess.
Said the one with the handle ibid. Hypocrite much?
Whatever you do..please dont spam partner inboxes. We dont decide and we cant reply to gmail.
oh but afaik, they send an update 2 weeks post deadline?
for HSF Kramer, I received an email that, I have passed their deadline and my application will now be reviewed.
NLU tag matters in UG. PG should be specialisation based and Phd should be advisor based. So even if you are getting a great advisor in a private university, it's better than a mid advisor at an NLU. Example Prabhas Ranjan at Jindal is much better than Prof local at NLUO.
Better to aim for universities in Delhi and NCR. Since majority conference and research workshops happen in Delhi. Traveling everytime from Odisha to Delhi will be heavy on the pockets.
Everything you heard is true. Also the selection is more biased towards locals and former students. So chances of selection is in the negative.
What exactly was so inspiring to you ? All the yelling at poor associates at 11 in the night ?
How is 99.9% of India doing ? Every other LI thread with placements mentioned is nothing but a di** measuring competition of nls, nalsar, nujs, nluj, gnlu and nlud. We get it, you guys are doing fine. But what about the rest of India where 99% of India goes to study ?
Avoid. There is work cutting from other sector specific teams and partners like insurance, competition, and TMT.
For all the hate the firm gets, Abhixit Singh from ASP Advocates is a pretty sharp tool in the shed. Trained in Titus & Co during it's heydays.
Out of the 4, Lucio is the only company which is backed largely only by angels. They claimed that DeVC led their round but that was only a 100k USD participation cheque. We all know that angels are not sophisticated investors and hence these ▮▮▮
Thank you, they haven't hired anyone, I know that for sure, can't expand any further here at the risk of doxing myself. Any reason for you to believe there will be vacancies ahead??

Also, any thing else I should do except cold mailing the firm in the meantime?
If this was for a associate role, it some cases it has taken a month to respond. So keep following up through mails or texts.
Nobody cares about interns yaar. Seedha lete hai based upon the campus placement or the PPO offered.
Got to know from a friend that mass resignations are happening in legacy. I remember the time when we heard such stories of maas resignation about T&S also.
Assistant Public Prosecutor, Delhi pays about the same as the judicial services. Can't say the same for other APP opportunities with the Central Government.
"fairly well known law firm" seems like it. Not a t-1 else OP would have mentioned it, and not many other half decent firms that sponsor such competitions. This is most likely the NLIU C&M Competition.
Jafar is a good partner. Wont trouble you much. I will not recommend the other one.
Around 25 ppo rolled so far from 27 batch from different different NLUs with another 50 to be rolled out in next 8 months
I have asked KM for many drafts and they never gave me any. Cherry on top? They hounded me a few months later asking me for the drafts that I had requested them; to update their database lmao
Hello all. Do you know what year of law school they take interns in? Do any of them take third year interns ?
Touchstone internship application form doesnt have the location.
I'm an associate in Mumbai based firm. In our group, there was a post regarding vacancy in disputes practice of SAM Ahmedabad at A2/A3 level. Want to know the information regarding team, work and pay scale.
Exactly, had the same question. If it's for a fresher position, how long should a candidate wait?? Do firms like KCO, Cam & Tri even bother to send rejections??
Lots of transactions, but all similar types. Not great quality of work or people. You will only learn basics. The view will remain very narrow as you will see very limited types of transactions. Not PE/ M&A team for sure. Can be considered for DFI and VC work.
Some of them think they're on the sets of devil wears prada ... that there is an ill-defined virtue and life lesson in all of this, looking the part.
How are they? Do they have M&A PE VC work? I am scheduled to intern in a corp team in the coming months.

What are the PPO chances?
Title reminded me of the legend near the back gate of nlu dwarka
Hi. Did you end up joining? Do let me know your feedback. Because I asked around and got some bad reviews. So just wanted to hear from someone who has actually worked there.
CAM Delhi has a friendly atmosphere...or it had till most of the fun partners left.
See your offer letter. They will make the exit unpleasant. Ask anyone who has left recently.
Bump, although i don't they care that much for A0s. Might check if you've actually interned there at all
Don’t be a woman. That should help in this messy, men lead, old boys club profession. If you’re a woman, join a law firm.
Step 1 - be a polyglot (already aware of that); step 2- be qualified to practise/register as foreign lawyer (already aware of that); step 3- get the job (how?) thats the question, learned friend?!
can some HR come and tell what takes them so so long to respond. Despite interview going decent, have been following up for two weeks now? what sort of joke is this?
will they be hiring more people now? considering they hire only 7-8 for each office?
Do not join toxic chambers. But the catch is, you'll never know until you join. All of us first gen litigators are destined to be exploited in the initial years.
from what i've seen in past years, pretty sure replies from Links will be around July-August (July if you're rejected, mid-August if you're proceeding to the interview round)
One partner is leaving by himself for another firm, confirmed news
Phd admissions are rigged. Half are former students and other half are locals. No point going.
I got shortlisted as well. Decided not to go since there's internal nepotism and bias towards locals over outsider during selection. No point wasting money to go and present when the result is already rigged.
Same thing happened with a few of my batchmates who are brilliant in terms of their work, GPA etc. Seems to be a standard practice nowadays, law firms giving out false hopes in order to get free (or cheap) labour from "long term interns" etc.
Law is still a traditional profession, and rightly so! I would not take anyone with eyebrow piercings seriously. The only acceptable ones are ear piercings.
This, period. It’s easier to control women at junior levels
It is important to distinguish reportage and opinion pieces (most of these online portals carry both). Wire's reportage is good, opinion is, well...opinion.
Also, would be grateful if someone knows any A0 openings in M&A teams and can share them here!
Cause where would the nepo/connection babies go if merit based students are given the slot.!
why did you insert breathalyzers and chaperoning girlfriends into this conversation? stop derailing legitimate concerns with your nonsense agenda
Good at junior levels. Work is high volume, low pressure so it is manageable. No growth trajectory for seniors but this is by design, keeps the headcount manageable and not top heavy.
I oscillate between PE/VC and TMT at T2 firm. Fintech within TMT can be done.
Please provide information on pay, culture, assessment and recruitment policy etc.
No dude, why would they call up internships?

However, this doesnt mean you lie and bluff. One conversation somewhere, and your whole career is done for.
Seems like when God was creating you, in the column of 'Wit and Humour', you chose - none of these.
