2. Empathy and strong sense of duty towards your client is a must....90% lawyers fail so that sets you apart
3. Art of filtration and balance... Know what to imbibe and how much to imbibe.. You'll eventually realise what I mean
4. Focused and calculated growth.. Apart from the obvious of convincing the judge you should be aware of proper etiquettes, drafting, researching alongwith clerical and procedural work
5. Independent practice should be the long term goal but don't rely on skewed referrals from police, advocates etc.. Have patience to gradually and steadily build up practice as only growth which is sustainable brings peace in the long run

The impact of forensic sciences on law as a mainstream discipline is unquestionable. NFSU remains the Gold Standard and is pivotal to the growth of forensic science driven legal practices in India. We are witnessing the future, and NFSU as the inspiration is writing the rules.
How does one break in to their litigation teams ? As far as I know, freshers aren't hired for litigation.
How does the litigation team for tax and other areas work ? What is the pay ?
Which partners in Trilegal Bengaluru are hiring? Have heard Jaideep Reddy gave a PPO to someone from NUJS recently can someone confirm please. Also Nikhil’s team took an assosciate ig.
What about NDA, now that only Kamath is left, do they even have a practice to hire?
What about partners from Khaitan or JSA who do tech like Ishan Johari or Rachana Rautray? (do they give direct PPOs)
And who from CAM?? But have heard SAM/CAM only give 2 week internships if you go by reference?
Do any other Tier 2s having TMT practices are hiring, will they still consider me or is hiring for BO’27 done? I’ve heard a lot of Data privacy work is coming in so juniors are needed
If your claim is correct, you are one of those preferred teams that gets benefit due to this kind of discretion. But it doesn’t hold true for most of the practice areas, offices and teams.
50, 62, 78 are other options to consider if you're fine with travelling half an hour.
However, one big difference that works against us is that our generation is addicted to luxury spending. We cannot imagine life without buying expensive watches, eating out in expensive restaurants and showing off on Instagram. So even if we retire earlier than our parents, this pressure to spend will still be there.
So, for a luxury retirement, I’m thinking 50 crore corpus at age 50-60 if you 0 kids and an earning wife (or no wife); 65 crore if you have 1 kid and an earning wife; 90 crore if you have 1 kid and a housewife? Includes inheritance and also assumes elderly parents fund themselves.

Best had neat because we are all skating on the thin ice of life.
Adding LLB, MBA and BA law will further deteriorate the campus.
Look at NLS, it's facing the brunt for bringing in additional courses to the point that the hostels cannot accommodate anymore. The only reason it's not falling drastically is because it's NLS. But the same won't happen for NLUO.
People will prefer HNLU, NUALS and MNLU Mumbai after the new campus over NLUO.
Doesn't matter who the VC is.
Research can be done even after an LLB or an LLM. So if you want to do research, don't get into a PhD program. Instead using your bachelors and/or masters degree get into a research centre or thinktank. Many have research assistant and research associate post with minimal llb/LLM requirement. Do that instead.
Handful names with billings.
Performance and work culture may differ. Not commenting. Purely big rainmakers.
Handful NLU alumni bragging one IAS, one judge, 10-15 gowns is too overrated.
But it’s also worth reading the OpIndia report. Some of the foreign funding is engineered towards churning out far-left material.

Comes after many days of such egg attacks, including against Abhishek Banerjee and Mahua Moitra. Mahua Moitra did a Facebook live stream of the egg attack against her and alleged one egg hit her stomach and left her with bruises.
Work culture, quality of work, work hours, etc
They make you work on these old ass desktops which dont work half the time.
Taking unannounced leaves is very frowned upon. But good place to grow , dont know abt asses interns.
Bangalore- Fear is not an option.
Delhi- What is fear?
God I miss the old days when a senior gown actually meant something.

Jurisphere used to claim they run their own LLMs from their own servers to avoid data security questions during their initial pitches. Something Sarvam just raised 300 million dollars to do last month, a couple of NUJS grads have apparently been doing since 2024 LOL.
My questions are -
1. How difficult would it be to transition to a T1/T2 law firm in the same practice area after one or two years?
2. Also, how should I approach the initial years of my chamber practice to maximize my prospects for such a switch?
I finished my internship last week and got the callback intimation like 2-3 days ago
Litigation is really for those who can tolerate long-long-long years of uncertainty. I mean hats off to all who dedicate such time.
Happy to stand corrected.
any tips? any leads? please help guys

The other side of off campus accomodation.
External. Awards are mostly paid.
Took a drop so graduated at 24.
28 now.
Did litigation for 4 years and honestly I'm not made for this. Being first gen I am making only 75K to 90K per month.
I wish to be stable as parents have retired and Delhi is expensive.
Can I join T1 law firms now ? Have a good CV from law school times (top20 of batch, certain international moots and Good publications).
, just have been too complacent to do anything. But i am changing things now. And one of them is i would like to have a good publishing record but for that i need to start somewhere. I am looking for spaces which will almost guarantee accept a novice writer's attempt on socio-economic/ legal topics. Please help.
