Khaitan & Co took home the winning trophy at the ELP Masters Cup 2012 last weekend, as 16 law firm teams battled it out on the grounds of the Police Gymkhana in Mumbai. Two-time defending champions Wadia Ghandy failed to make the cut.

The annual Delhi Twenty20 Westlaw-SILF law firm cricket tournament has had a spectacular start in Delhi this month with Trilegal and Saikrishna & Associates showing a definite lead in the points tally after the completion of 13 exciting intra-pool matches played over the last two weekends.

The finals of the 3^rd SILF-Khushal Inter Law Firms Cricket Cup – 2011 was everything that a final should be, reports top cricket pundit Tarun Mehrishi: “It’s amazing how score cards fail to tell the true story, for while an eventual margin of 23 runs suggests a one-sided affair, in reality, the match hung in the balance for almost its entire duration.”

For the second year in a row Wadia Ghandy won the 2011 Mumbai ELP Masters Cricket Cup last weekend, besting Nishith Desai Associates (NDA) in the finals after Economic Laws Practice (ELP) was foiled by the flip of a coin in the semi-finals.

Titus & Co has lifted this year’s Turf Twenty20 Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cup after defeating Kochhar & Co in the finals last Saturday (15 January) to become the tournament’s champion for two years in a row in the nail-biting close to an exciting series.

Titus & Co and Kochhar & Co have defeated semi-finalists Amarchand Mangaldas and Luthra & Luthra respectively to face off against each other in the finals for the Turf Twenty20 Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cup.

Kochhar & Co, Amarchand Mangaldas, Titus & Co and Luthra & Luthra have defeated AZB & Partners, Dua Associates, Anand & Anand and Saikrishna Associates respectively to enter the semi-finals of the Turf Twenty20 cricket tournament for the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cup.

AZB & Partners, Saikrishna & Associates, Amarchand Mangaldas, Anand & Anand and Kochhar & Co have joined Titus & Co, Luthra & Luthra and Dua Associates as quarter-finalists of the TURF Twenty20 cricket tournament for the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cup.

Titus & Co, Luthra & Luthra, Kochhar & Co, K&S Partners and Amarchand Mangaldas were the winning teams of the intra-pool matches of the fifth weekend of the Delhi Twenth20 tournament last weekend under foggy conditions.

Amarchand Mangaldas, KJSV and Saikrishna Associates from pool B and C defeated Karanjawala & Co, Suri & Co and Khaitan & Co respectively in a set of matches played for the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cup in the TURF Twenty20 tournament during this weekend.

Karanjawala & Co, Kochhar & Co and Anand & Anand won convincingly over Khaitan & Co, KJSV and Suri & Co in the second round of matches in the the TURF Twenty20 tournament between law firms for the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Cup.
