Top Mumbai litigation and real estate solicitors partnership Federal & Rashmikant has officially dissolved on 1 January 2019, as we had first reported in June 2018.
Federal & Rashmikant’s two senior name partners M Federal and C Rashmikant are due to separate, dissolving the partnership of the top Mumbai litigation and real estate firm, according to two reliable sources.
The new report by legal directory Chambers & Partners, which compiles an annual tiered ranking of law firms and partners in various practice areas, has seen Khaitan & Co take the top spot by number of "ranked" lawyers, reported The Economic Times, while AZB & Partners, Khaitan & Co and both erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas co-managing partner Shroff brothers have lost dominance.
Senior counsel Iqbal Chagla told the Bombay high court in his closing remarks that his client Cyril Shroff would be filing an affidavit showing the “deep involvement” of his brother in the will.
