Ajoy Halder, who had started up infrastructure law firm Halder & Associates in 2017 in Delhi, has passed away after contracting Covid-19.
The 2004 NLSIU Bangalore graduate had started Halder & Associates in 2017 after he had moved back to India to HSA Advocates.
Before that he had worked at the Singapore office of Pinsent Masons (as it then was) from 2011 until 2016, as well as DSK Legal, Trilegal and erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas.
He is survived by his sister Sushmita Halder, who also works in Halder & Associates as a counsel.
The firm also includes partners Rajiv Kr Choudhary and Harsha Peechara.
His death follows the coronavirus-related deaths of Sundeep Dudeja yesterday and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas partner SH Bhojani last year.

Anyone who was at the HSA Bali retreat knows how much fun he was.
Rest in peace my friend - till we meet again.
So young! Gone way too soon. Rest in peace. God bless
