ANM expands with 2 associate partners, doubles down on media & entertainment with new Andheri office

ANM Global has hired its first two associate partners in Delhi and Mumbai, and has opened up a media and entertainment office in Andheri, according to a press release.

In Delhi, the firm has added Radhika Mathur as a corporate and M&A associate partner.

The 2010 Symbiosis International University graduate had previously worked at Rajinder Narain & Co from 2013 as an associate, and had before that had practised as a Supreme Court clerk and advocate.

In particular, she specialises in the aviation sector having worked with aircraft manufacturers, lessors, owners, finance companies and airlines.

In Mumbai, ANM has hired Parul Sharma as an associate partner in its litigation practice. She specialises in arbitration and litigation before the Bombay high court, tribunals, and other dispute resolution forums.

She is a 2008 GLC Mumbai graduate, with an LLM in international commercial litigation from the University of London.

Managing partner Nidhish Mehrotra commented in the release: “The firm has adopted the in-organic methodology to enhance the pan India growth of the firm to beat the challenging business environment.”

Following its hire last year of ex-Naik & Naik manager Anushree Rauta as a partner to head its media and entertainment practice, it has also opened a new office in Andheri West to cater specifically towards the vertical.

Mehrotra addedthat the aim behind the new office was to support the “rapid growing media and entertainment practice” and to “provide excellently solution and turnaround time” nearer to the hub of Mumbai’s media industry.

With a business partner Mehrotra has also set up a “Bollywood incubation centre” dubbed MEHUB, to assist “technology driven media and entertainment start-ups and content driven companies” with facilities, mentoring and professional services.

ANM Global now has 35 fee-earners and offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, and 7 partners, of whom 2 are associate partners.
