Rauta joins ANM Global as media entertainment partner

Former Naik Naik & Co manager Anushree Rauta joined ANM Global as a partner heading its media and entertainment practice, effective 1 August.

An ILS Pune 2010 alumnus, Rauta was running her media and entertainment laws blog since December 2017 after leaving Naik, where she had started her legal career.

She has advised studios, broadcasters, production houses, talent management companies, music labels, content aggregators, digital platforms, celebrities, e-commerce platforms, event organizers and film trade associations, structures transactions and also practices media and entertainment litigation, according to ANM’s press release.

ANM managing partner Nidhish Mehrotra commented in the release: “She is an accomplished lawyer with an in-depth expertise and deep sense of passion towards the law, which will further accelerate the growth of the practice, especially to scale newer heights in international jurisdictions.”

Rauta said: “The Entertainment & Media industry is a very niche and evolving sector & I believe my knowledge and experience in this sector can add a significant value to the M&E practice of ANM Global. Nidhish & my thoughts are fairly aligned on how we wish to contribute our legal services for this sector and build this practice forward. I am excited to start this journey and contribute to the growth of the firm.”
