Thanks for bringing into light such type of issue of our judicial systems. Our Judicial system is really going to be peculiar. One such example is Your blog where You brought into light that a thief of Rs.20 has been punished rigorously and all the Dacoits of multicrore 2G spectrum cases are moving freely in the society without any legal recourse. Thanks once again

Good One!! but again, the magistrate was bound by law.He can not override with the provisions of law. still, he should have taken some lenient view.
about the non-conviction of politicians doing multi crore scams, I can only say that we are responsible for such inactions and not the judiciary itself. We allow such kind of politicians to sit over our head and do whatever they want to do but still we never act against them. So we must bear with all this until we change ourselves.

I appreciated the judgment & the ideology of the judge - theft is theft but the flow is on the nature of the case, which strikes issues like petty cases are always ignored by the law or to say is normally exempted under the law.
Judge had done his best part keeping in mind Ss 378 & 379 of IPC what he should had have appreciated is the nature that the money is only RS. 20/-

Law are harsh they is no space to be lenient nether emotional!!
