There were many setbacks in my life. I had a tough time getting in the good books of my teachers. I was terrible in studies. But that was because of some reasons. “Sabki problems hoti hai, meri bhi thi, tumhari bhi hogi, no one is perfect.”

Moreover my extremely good looks and gullible charm drove all my teachers berserk. They were drawn to me like bees to honey. I have a gift, you know some gift. I am planning to write a book on 99 ways to ignore sarcastic moments like these.

**Initially I thought of giving CLAT but then I realized; who wants to be practically deformed. By this I do not intent to say that they are practically deformed, but still my neighbor Sukanya; I know the name is a serious turn off but trust me she looks great, except for the fact that she is an isolated freak.

**

Yeah, she belongs to that genre of nerds who study even when there is nothing to study and believe you me she can give teachers run for their Ph.D’s. She slaughtered day and night to get through CLAT. She even hired a private jet to fly her 100 meters to school from her place, just so that she could save those precious 18 minutes 14 seconds and 11 nanoseconds, walk down town.

I still remember her talking to the principal of our school Mr. Gokhale on Environment Change and Sustainable Development and Role of Indian women in UNO. What the f**k! She was so irritating and made all of us feel shit. I know it’s insane, like when your 17 you need to act 17. Why do you need to act like a constipated soul?

Sukanya studied for say 10 to 15 hours just to follow her dream of getting into her dream law college. For this she even detested food and was later diagnosed with anorexia. But sadly it was not the right time for her. She could not qualify.

It was a major setback for her and she lost it in entirety. She could not even get through the fact that it was over and that she had crossed the age limit for applying again. As an aftermath of this tragic incidence Sukanya has developed a so called liking for herself. She is usually seen talking to herself and it’s got nothing to do with introspection or art of living.

“Sukanya hill gayi hai guys!” At present she is doing BA through correspondence and is also taking coaching for IAS. She religiously devotes 18 to 20 hours a day to her studies and is one hell of an honest recluse. All her friends have moved on (like literally moved on from Borivali to Kandivali), but she is still waiting for her mister perfect to rescue her and escort her to la la land.

Like if I study for more than 1 hour, I’ll end up hallucinating. Now for all those aspirants who are soiling so hard to get into their dream college: take a break. You don’t have to end up being a Sukanya or anything close to her.

MY VISIT TO A CIRCUS

I was 3 then when i first went to a circus...There is saw 'JUMBO a grown up elephant and 'CHUNKY' a monkey.. JUMBO was made to stand on footed on a elevated table where it could barely stand and CHUNKY was made to stand on the head of JUMBO. i enjoyed the show as other did.....With efflux of time i stepped to 15 and got a opportunity to have a look around back stage of circus.. I WAS TAKEN ABACK... i found there were many such JUMBOS and CHUNKEYS who were trained by a person by wiping them day and night and perhaps becoz of the fear of the whip the animals performs such almost impossible tricks....

In race courses horses r selected on the basis of its blood line.....so as to make sure that they run faster when they r asked for.....

Education and training sort of education has some diff..which perhaps our nlus and clats fail to understand..The clat aspirants are almost made to study the virtual 1st semester as preparation for entrance test...

These r personal opinions... and not intended to hurt ny sentiment.....

I just read this post and fail to understand what you want to convey.
If you want to say that one should relax while preparing for such exams, thats right. But also remember that when someone is in the pressure to make career, to get into a good University, those who are serious and committed want to give everything, not because that guarantees success, but gives a self-satisfaction of putting all efforts. People call such aspirants as idiots, as losers who "after trying so hard couldn't get through, while someone else with half prep. did"...but I have respect for sukanya and people like her (who don't even look like mandakini) b'cos they belief in efforts and know how to continue even after failures...

besides sometimes, working hard is fun..like when you work for moots...its actually fun.

Get over the idea that only children should spend their time in study. Be a student so long as you still have something to learn, and this will mean all your life.

The point you're trying to make is pretty obscure. Or are you even trying to make a point? But from what I gather and put together, I guess you're trying to say relaxed hardwork is the best way? But I am saddened to see you portray Sukanya like she's crazy, and not as a cautionary tale (and a temporary one at that). And please don't put some sort of a stamp or judge her just because of her fervour to study. It might just pay off some day, in a way you or I might not have imagined. Besides, both of your professional lives are yet to take shape. Don't label it so quickly. Whether it's relaxed people like you or meticulous people like sukanya, to each his own. We might not get what we want all the time, but in the end, we all turn out fine. Besides, you're the one who said, and I quote,"sabki problems hoti hain, meri bhi thi, tumhari bhi hogi... no one is perfect." Sukanya may be, in your words, 'an isolated freak', which is a disdvantage, yes, but she is a hardworker to the point of hehe, anorexia. But, hey, nobody's perfect. Right?

Oh, and one more thing. Cracking the CLAT has got nothing, zilch, zip, nada, zero to do with how you perform in your boards. So if those are one of your concerns in case you want to get into a good NLU, don't sweat it. You're doing fine. But with all due respect, please don't label or derive any conclusions from the situation you wrote about. Life changes. People change.

Oh, and if you're already in an NLU, good for you. :-)
