Thanks for summarising: we want to keep LI clean, and find in our experience that certain modes of expression and language is not conducive to cleanliness and ends turning LI discussions into (more of) a WhatsApp / Facebook / 4chan / Twitter gutter.
Great question... And why don't most placement committees push for actually disclosing the information properly?
Victimhood complex much? Alas a lot of law school posts are trolling other law schools: that one is quite hard to moderate sometimes, but fortunately most of it is also mostly harmless...
Not a liberal. And not silent: no one ever asked (other than the groupthink trolls who think the world exists in a binary world of liberals and conservatives).
LI is intended for only authentic discussions of honestly held beliefs, rather than comments hoping merely to provoke outrage or pretending they are representing a point of view when they are merely pretending to do so in order to provoke outrage.
Flagged and merged for being potentially disingenuous... You are not actually a student of the law or interested in a legal answer, are you?
Oooh, someone just got triggered coz they don't like when someone asks questions they don't have answers to... Please send more of your angry rage tears🍿
There is potential to be some sour grapes / some trolling in the above post, so take it with a pinch of salt, even if some of the complaints may have merit, most do seem rather subjective.
He was always a bit strange / weird / silly but there's a good possibility Dalai Sir is just getting a bit more batty in his old age, no?
More NLU grads going for judiciary was the late and great Madhava Menon's dream, but they are still in the minority... Hence interesting if three from NUJS do it...
Bumped for late moderation. Was not clear whether this is intended as troll-bait, but if it is, please don't be triggered / don't feed the troll.
But surely student quality has improved some over the years, even if top NLUs are still first choice. If so, then given time + more money, student quality could continue improving at well-run institutions with billionaire money?
There does appear to be a lot of trolling of NUJS in particular. So please be warned, only non-troll answers genuinely looking to engage will pass moderation :)
"It is also a fact that negative traits of Mughal rulers are not shown" - are you sure that's true? Do you have any sources for this from text books?
Most firms / employers want to see a balanced CV that showcases different interests, not necessarily only one or two... Though some firms might prefer one more than others...?
Fine, the censored word was 'masturbation', and there's nothing wrong with it, but in the context it as mentioned seemed a little trollish...
Congratulations, wish you lots of happiness in marriage and in law! Love follows no rules :)
Sure, there was clearly some politics happening, but this seems like BS 'journalism', trying to draw some oblique inferences directly to Raga, insinuating that he (or anyone) would care about an LSE student council election?
Great answer and very true! The streets of Delhi are paved with the good intentions of short-lived start up law firms friends have started... On the other hand, a few are still around and it's sure to be an interesting ride on the way! :)
News flash, stop press: new generation doesn't really care about music from their parent's generation! :)

And no, all kids aren't like that, these are especially YouTubeable ones who REACT (the clue is in the channelname) so you click on their video.
Thanks for sharing and our condolences to all fellow students, friends and family. Out of abundance of caution, we mark such posts as contested until there is further evidence corroborating it.
May not even need SILF's direct involvement: what if a random / several advocate/s file writ petitions against BCI or first foreign firm to open shop here?
You may be right on some counts, but you're obviously also intending to provoke and troll, hence the tag :)
FYI, Just want to clarify, there's no way for us to verify that it's an authentic initiative, so sign at own risk, though the letter seems to be well-argued and well-intentioned. Is it an anonymous group that's behind this petition? Any more information you can share?
