2. Speak to a therapist and heal your traumas (so your natural confidence can shine through)
3. Read this book called Open Her - its on kindle and it explains the difference facets to a man's character that are attractive to women, from the perspective of women. Good news is that you can work on those facets of your character
4. Consult a woman friend who understands fashion to guide you to build a nice wardrobe
5. invest in hiring a good photographer to shoot your dating profile photos

If you have high self esteem you will attract others with high self esteem who will find you attractive. If you have a deeply held belief that you are not attractive nobody will find you attractive. I am a female, I've had some experience of it as a teen where I had insecurities about my appearance despite the fact that most people have given me positive compliments. Over time, I have realized beauty is extremely subjective, comes from years of conditioning by media and society, and not that important in the list of other things. Especially in the legal field, I think it does not play that a big role but I am guessing in you social and dating life, it might. But at the end of the day, I guess it is okay to have people who value us for us, rather than our face and body, so losing out those people should be fine right?
