Comments about how the place has poor placements, hasn't published it's placement report in years, submits false data to NIRF, and how exiting from the consortium has only hurted it in the past few years. The only redeeming thing i see on LI are about the place not having a domicile quota and a good campus.
Someone please give me an honest answer about all these things, will i be making a mistake by choosing NLUD?
Should I try for something like Jamia instead?
It's surprising how NALSAR doesn't releases such a report(expected better from my own University).
I believe this is the least the Universities can do when it comes to maintaining transparency.
I’ll add one more thing, here. NALSAR had faked salary data in the first NIRF too, it doesn’t make any difference. And even if NUJS faked data, they’d still not be in the top 3 since their reputation is such. Symbi Pune is ranked 3rd in NIRF, would you pick that over other NLUs? Stop wasting everyone’s time.
You shit on symbis nirf ranking but you also try to present NLUD as a better choice than NALSAR/NUJS because of that very minute difference in nirf rankings.

If your choice is between NLUD and private universities or traditional universities, then you should choose NLUD without a second thought. It is a great place to learn law at and you will do well in there if you work hard. It has got a good administration now, decent faculty, good infra and intelligent peer group. Other than in the mind of trolls, no actual competition exists between these universities, I am always glad to see students from other universities doing well too. The flexing on LI is mostly juvenile and done by people who have got too much time to waste.

if you do a basic calculation on https://nludelhi.ac.in/download/nirf/Placement.pdf the median comes to 11.6 lakhs
so you see either the people in NLUD who submitted the NIRF report do not know how to calculate median or this is a deliberate lie by NLUD to bolster its ranking"

Also, how has exiting from the Consortium "hurt" NLUD? Did you hear that from your seniors at your tier 1.5 NLU? If anything, they made a lot more money from it and have set themselves apart from other regular CLAT NLUs and have got the same set of students who take the CLAT joining them instead. I mean, you're obviously a troll, so I don't expect any answer, but if you want to sling mud, atleast learn to do it convincingly.
Not everyone can dish out 3 lakhs for a college which relies heavily on alleged fake data to bolster its rankings.Jamia isn't a bad place to pursue law, atleast in terms of fee it's far better than so called tier 1 NLUs who seek the students kidney in return for the most run of the mill education.
Go for Jamia if litigation is what you want to pursue, it's hilarious when these NLU kids pursue litigation after spending 10-15 lakhs, it's better to go to a reputed place like Jamia with a lower fee structure if entering litigation is your end goal.
15 lakhs might not look like a lot to you because your daddy funded your education, a lot people have siblings/other priorities and can't expect all the finances to be spent on them.
You speak from a point of privilege and are just miffed about the OP even suggesting to have Jamia as an option over the bourgeoisie NLUs.
So it doesn't matter whether law firms know of it's existence.
