I understand that many firms look down on this but it is also the reality that freshers straight out of law school have a lot to learn. If an internship provides one with relevant experience, isn't it in the interest of the T1 to allow recruits to continue to intern until graduation?
If one has the inclination and bandwidth due to lack of classes/any meaningful activity in college in the final year, is it acceptable to intern at smaller firms that teach their interns more than bigger firms whose associates are so busy that they have no time to train their interns?
I have been applying for trilegal internship for last 2 months through their website and I have asked for all kind of slots from oct-feb but what I have recieved is only rejection response.
I have a strong CV and good internships too. Can anyone help me in this regard?
Jindal is a large multidisciplinary University with 12 schools/departments with 10,000 students resident on campus being taught by 1100 faculty members.
Ashoka is not even one-fifth the size of Jindal either in terms of students or faculty size or even campus. It's like a small liberal arts college with a private University status.
Jindal is an Institution of Eminence or IOE notified by Ministry of Education, Govt of India. Ashoka is just a state private University and we don't see it becoming an IOE in near future.
Jindal in its present status can be compared or treated as a private counterpart of a JNU or TISS. Ashoka is like an NLU.
In Law, Jindal is ranked among top 100 law schools of the world for 3 years in a row. No department of Ashoka has ever been internationally ranked.
Let's not get into unfair comparisons.
* 4-5 days
sorry I might/might not have been a little drunk
Leave for office by 9 am, Reach office by 10:30 am.
Leave office at 8 pm & come back home by 9:30 pm.
10-11: dinner and spend some time with family.
11:30 pm- Off to Sleep.
Paradox.
Come on NLS PR agency, you can fake it.
The firm places a lot of focus on values such as empathy and humility so if you lack the values they are looking for, you are out. For people out there, that are good law students but terrible people, best of luck getting in lol and stop crying here.
The firm does deals as big as tier 1's you can check out their website or bar and bench for that so it pays a tier 1 salary as well.
also if you get it in and are good enough, they wont hesitate in giving you an offer either.
4th year chalu ho gaya aur ab samajh aa raha hai shayad clat ke lie or padhna chahiye tha, sala jo chutiya kehta hai life enjoy karo uski mat suno, hustle karo bhai warna subah uthne se pehle or rat ko sone se pehle regret hi karte reh jaoge.
I quote the most important part of the article below:
"Put differently, a majority of men are not naturally predisposed towards Oppenheimer, but are championing the film perhaps because it helps them perform masculinity. Unless consciously addressed, such gender construction processes are self-reinforcing. .... Reportedly, around two-thirds of the Indian theatre-going audiences are male. (This is indicative of perhaps why Oppenheimer is doing better than Barbie in India, bucking the larger, global trends). Film industries continue to imagine a paying cis-heterosexual male as the default audience of the films they produce. Therefore, most of the fare is geared toward their sensibilities and expectations. The continued underrepresentation of women and non-binary people among audiences should be read as an index of their exclusion from the larger spaces of culture and leisure."
I have to say that I agree with the authors 100%. I actually saw both Oppenheimer and Barbie in the hall, rather than the pirated version. The Oppenheimer crowd was mostly male and many were engineering/science bros who were discussing the scientific aspects of the bomb, rather than its ethical implications. Then they were moaning about the censorship of Florence Pugh's nudity. So a pretty male and toxic environment overall. In contrast, the Barbie audience had mostly women. They were laughing at the right scenes and appreciating the movie's calling out of patriarchy.
1. Funds is not something where you have many options laterally (in India).
2. What equity profits do a being given to A2s and A3s, None as per my knowledge
I was shocked when i heard he'd moved to Trilegal, didn't think he'd make such moves. But at the same time realization sank in later it was inevitable, good on him.
It also seems that the Modi government has hit the brakes on liberalisation after saying it would happen. I just hope Adani isn’t pulling the strings.
Just wrote it cuz I didn't want trolls to come up to me and say that's what happens when u get in with reservation.
If someone replies, it takes 4-5 to have any effective conversation
Please for god's sake keep an extra moderator. I'll be more than happy to volunteer as would many others

Can someone tell me is it Scopus indexed and accepted for promotion ? Is this as per UGC norms or the faculty have committed unfair practicce?
Thank you.
Anyway unlike 2021, when the dates of interview of the candidates were published publicly, it hasn't happened this year. The interviews have been going on but on the discretion of the judges disregarding the ranks and marks obtained by the candidates.
Moreover, the candidates are being informed of the interview personally, so others are not aware how many are actually done with their interview.
Some have joined also, while others are still waiting for an interview call. All of which is being notified personally.
Candidates are left in an uncertain lurch not knowing who to reach out to for answers and accountability..

As someone who was wondering how on earth people were appearing for the AIBE without preparing, let me tell you, if you just take the 5 major bare acts, you will still clear the exam.
This is as close to certain as I can be. If you want to spend some money for the AIBE please just take a comfortable cab to your location if it is outside the city and do not waste money on a course.
Best.
