1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Tbh, internships can be uncertain, there's no guarantee they'll convert into jobs. My plan is to spend a year at a litigation chamber and then make a switch.
- more than 50% reservation- insufficient funding
- unbothered faculty
- terrible infrastructure
MNLU-M ppl can intern only during breaks, and same goes for every other NLU, so you can't say that we have location advantage. (Offcourse 75% Attendance)
Then comes the Infrastructure, you guys are just in a MTNL Building. Come to MNLU Nagpur. They have atleast permanent campus, and hostels within the campus itself. Campus is far better than of MNLU-M.
And before saying and comparing 400 Rank and 1500. Just calm yourself, what are you jealous of so much. It's pure jealousy mann.
Just 2 hours of CLAT paper can't decide everything. Look at the records of MNLU Nagpur.
Corporate is not everything come on, MNLU Nagpur started 3 batches. Even BALLB (Hons. I Adjudication and Justicing) batch, an unique batch in itself. So, in this aspect too, MNLU Nagpur is far better than Mumbai.
And first and foremost, MNLU has no branches and anything. All three are independent in themselves.
Just like the nazis did
I am not very sure how to enter into this realm as what I have noticed is they reject for not having enough experience.
Anyone here has any suggestions as to how to get started?
How is the work environment, pay, and what is the attrition rate like?
Thus, the answer to the question is YES. Symbi students can very much compete.
During her address at the 69th convocation of IIT Kharagpur, Murmu stressed the need for good education over rankings but acknowledged that a good ranking not only attracts students and faculty worldwide but also enhances the country's reputation.
"Not even a single educational institution of such a vast country with the world's oldest knowledge tradition is among the top 50 educational institutions of the world. We need to think about it. The race for ranking is not more important than a good education. But good ranking not only attracts students and good faculty from all over the world but also enhances the reputation of the country,β she said.

Is it worthwhile in terms of getting work
Absolutely. That's exactly the kind of comparison needed.
Many people have advised me to do a partial drop as clat is very unpredictable, so in the worst case scenario i stay in symbiosis, will I be able to compete with NLU students in terms of internship/placement and overall academic and work progression
Also the likes of XLRI and FMS and a few others like SP Jain, MDI are pretty great.
What they shouldn't do is give lectures of diversity, peace and harmony.
Have a prospective interview lined up with them. Could someone provide a review about their work culture, salary offered, and just any other interview tips or things to keep in mind? Would appreciate any honest answers about the same.
Thank you!
That's why these awards will probably never match up to the kinds of Chambers, IBLJ, etc, which are comparatively more objective.
Remember also that the legal cells of both parties will be very busy and have lots of work now, so you won't be sitting idle. We are just 90 days away from elections and there will be lots of criminal law work being handled by both parties.
You only pass out at a bar.
So it's very unfair to cherry-pick Jindal and Ashoka and say that they are better than NLUs. Why don't you compare Amity with NLSIU, Sharda with NLUD, Galgotia with NALSAR etc?
CJI Chandrachud in survey of Gyanwapi Mandir Case has already held that while the Places of Worship Act forbids change in RELIGIOUS CHARACTER of a place, it does not bar ascertainment of the RELIGIOUS CHARACTER of that place. Accordingly, the survey was allowed.
Sane and non-toxic work environment.
Good salary and benefits, as well as bonuses.
30 days leave which we are encouraged to take.
Sure I might not be earning as much as the top earners in a desi law firm, but I get home at a good hour and get to spend time with wife and kids. I avoided mid career burn out by moving here.
Also quality of life is great. There is less to no crime, there is no shortage of things to do.
Preparing with a job is possible only if you are doing 9-5 . Litigation and law firm is 9-9 atleast ! That will leave you physically exhausted .
Word of Wisdom - You cant have bird in both hands. Kuch na kuch ssacrifice karna hi padega and then be courageous to bear the outcome.
Shame on students for opting for scam electives and getting E without any studying.
NUJS needs a thorough review.
Totally not misogynistic. Can't believe such a comment receives so much upvoting in this time and age
Yep, there is no comparison! /s
Hand the land to the Hindu community, like in Ayodhya?Keep the land with the Muslim community, fixing the cutoff date as 1947 and not before?

For all the juvenile toxic rhetoric we see on this platform about state NLUs (more so about the so-called Tier 1), there is not a single state NLU that comes even close. And I am not even comparing with the likes of IISc and IIT-B. As a private university, Ashoka is outperforming all state NLUs. Sorry state of affairs - all this hype about the Rhodes scholarship, international moots, CAM, SAM, AZB, Trilegal, etc. is zilch.
So keep your head down, be thankful to god and work hard.

About the pay β I'm not sure. I heard that it is a sham too, and just on paper. Apparently, they have a loophole or something. There is a thread on pay regarding this. Just check it out elsewhere on LI. You will find it.
For LLB, no use use whatsoever since it's an antiquated version of law which existed before the integrated degree came out.
Though I feel LLB is better since it gives u the room to intern more due to flexible schedule
MA (1,2,3) - Anywhere between 45 - 60/65 lakhs (including bonuses)
Mumbai is solid for Banking and Capital Markets and is known for its jolly and inclusive environment. On the other hand, Delhi is solid for M&A, Antitrust and Projects; and pays 15% more than mumbai with a terrible culture.
Delhi office is prettier but Mumbai has better coffee:)))

These are Mumbai figures but Delhi bills higher at TT&A since GS is seated with all the rainmakers at that side of the turf. Think they keep you hanging at MA since its a glorified Counsel/Junior Partner role; the firm expects you to run the deal being an MA i.e. open any deal on LinkedIn and you will see that the involvement of an MA is more than that of the Associate. That being said, TT&A's culture is something to look forward to with very complex deals, Ex Foreign BigLaw partners and one of the most polished talent pools that there can exist in the Indian market.
In fact, during a meeting, when a particular point of law was questioned, he asked me to get a specific SCC volume and even knew the exact page number where the question of law was answered in the positive. It took me a while to come to terms with how knowledgeable and well-read the man was. It was simply inhuman.
AIR and ITR journals for multiple years were falling apart because of extensive use. Usually, seniors buy SCC or AIR manuals for multiple years but rarely ever use them. They serve as a good background for a Zoom call. However, for the first time, every single book had highlights, underlinings, bookmarks, and flags.
And the reading never stopped. Every couple of weeks, either an author would send him a copy of their latest book/commentary, or his friend, who was a bookstore owner would show up at the chambers with the latest books. Books about history, politics, economics, and everything under the sun. He would slowly but surely make time to read them all, despite how busy he was.
Really gave me some perspective about how much effort it takes to reach the top. I am an avid reader myself, but I can never imagine coming even close to that man. It was inspiring and intimidating at the same time. I wish I reach that level someday, but as of now, it is a distant dream.
Happy holidays
