We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Dont get confused. That 5k is not the stipend. It's fee that students have to pay to work for him for 9 hrs a day. Is that even ethical- can we take any action against it
Anyway! All the best.
1.Case laws should be as recent as possible and ideally the research Q / statement should be affirmed by the SC or HC of the state you are working in, if not the same state then 3-4 HCs affirming the point is sufficient.
2. Coming to finding case laws, it takes time tobecome good at finding relevant and strong case laws in a short span of time but with practice you'll be good to go.
1.Start by reading up on the basic law surrounding the proposition in case you aren't familiar with the same and then start by typing out the research statement in the form of a question. You'll find articles on the sub topic where you are likely to find some case relevant to you. Eg (sorry for the basic example) : Research proposition is : A mentally insane person cannot be charged with murder. Figure out the law in place (IPC). Next, type can an insane person be charged for a crime - you'll get articles on insanity as a defence and subsequently find case laws that were referred to in the article. Put that one case law on SCC, ensure it hasn't been overruled and you'll be able to find more cases affirming the case law as well.
3. You can also try directly typing the research statement on manupatra / SCC / Indian Kanoon and find something in case you are lucky. Although with Indian kanoon ofc, cross check the case in SCC and never link the Indian Kanoon case when passing on their research.
4. If no avail, you can refer to commentaries on the particular law and find cases.
5. Another place is to read the submissions made by the advocates in a judgment of a case related to your provision. You will most likely get a few case laws used by either side to prove the point that you are trying to make.
I'll start with one that i know- IFC legal counsel (obvs tough to get in)
Andh bhakti ki patti utaro to samajh ayega.

Let's say we have a scheme called Clean India Mission. In this scheme, 1-5 lakh toilets will be built all across the state for the use of public. Now, the scheme will be completed, toilets complexes will be inaugurated, all toilets will work fine too. So, no issues anywhere.
Here is the trickery. All the toilets will have a standard door. This means the door will be designed by some Govt. agency and will have very clear specifications on the material use. As in 50% steel usage, 20% iron usage etc. What these guys will do is instead of using 50% steel of standard X, they will use 20% steel of Standard X, and 30% of extremely substandard steel.
There is (actually there are ways, but they aren't approved or put in cold storage) no way to check the standard of each of these 5 lakh toilets. And you as a one time user, will never feel the difference. If only, someday, there is a very windy afternoon, then when you doing your business, due to the substandard material use, door will open and people might see your ___.
The point is, the corruption is extremely large-scale and fairly technical. You won't even see the difference. Now think of all the marble and tiles laid on footpaths, and similar type of projects.
The work is done. The work is used by the public. The work is a success. This is a successful corruption way. Then you won't get caught. Ab paper leak kariyega, full gaban kar lijiyega toh andar jaiyega hi.
2. Now write bing chat in the search bar.
3. Now select Creative mode.
4. Now ask your questions. GPT4 is free here.
Most people use GPT 3.5 and lament how bad ChatGPT is. Use GPT4 and see the magic.
Ask it as thoroughly as possible. As if he/she was your assistant. E.g. - Research for case laws from Madhya Pradesh between 2005-2010 in areas X. Tell me important points and some quotes from the judgement I can use.
2. Titan (but it’s cheap)
3. Ferragamo
4. Bata (but it’s cheap)
5. Generally impressive brands impress girls (and boys)
Or one can directly start at hc ?
If the aim is to join a law firms' disputes team down the line and later move inhouse
Not
1. Faculty: Not really. Other than a few marquee names, most Jindal faculty are inexperienced and lacking credible publications or research background.
2. Infra and facilities are unsatisfactory given the atrocious fees. Better than that of NLUs, but those places charge a lot less.
3. None of those exposures has really been sustainably used unless you have extra cash to spare after the high fees. There's no 'global exposure' that's part of the regular university experience. Guest lectures by foreign scholars happen at other places too.
Any idea about how much do similar firms pay for their Mumbai office?
It seems this page is filled with small town guys who keep on clowning themselves on LI
You can also try for IPMAT. And if you have some money, try Ashoka too, they have food reputation.
Because the IIT JEE, Engineering route is extremely brutal. I mean, it is not really the entrance exam phase, after that surviving 4y reading shit (beyond Comp Sc/IT fields all Engg is shit with respect to job prospects), is just bad. You feel life getting sucked out like in Harry Potter's prisoner of Azkaban.
And if you are General Engineering Male, even 99.6 in CAT wont get you IIM ABCL. So, you are doomed.
I would say, Engg + MS in US route is good enough. Any college +MS in Comp Sc/data analytics + some luck can land you 150k jobs.
So, go for CLAT + IPMAT + Ashoka. If you were too serious about IIT or engineering, you wouldn't have reached here in the first place. Later do foreign MBA or STEM MS.
So sit, take breath, analyse yourself then decide nothing is hard or cake walk. Go & read the strategies of successful candidates who posses skills like you
I put up a hypothetical scenario and you did not even answer that and acting like a smart alec here in comments. Shoo.
A healthy advance on it would be appreciated
"are you sexually repressed because you're queer or are you queer because you're sexually repressed"
P.S. I am a grade a office.
If yes, then try for other exams too. Else go for UPPCS, BPSC and UPSC. Because the prelims is getting tougher by the minute and mains becomes tough because the people who are filtered are good and talented.
So, better to stick one stream and affiliated exams rather than completely different exam styles. See Gaurav Tripathi of UPSC hindi. UPPCS cracked, IIT R alumnus, full mehnati & talented. Still got interview rejection 2 times. Finally this year got 216. And this year he was rejected from UPPCS.
So, it is very difficult. You can crack judiciary after age 32 too (cut off of general category.)
Reasons
1. Faculty - jindal is far better
2. Infra/ food/ facilities - jindal probably best in country
3. Global exposure, exchange programs, double degree etç.
Gotta say yes. At my NLU hostel, so many people have 1 TB of porn minimum saved and further 500 MB to 1 GB fresh porn streamed daily on average. And then they come on LI cribbing about how the admin gives them slow internet!
What’s concerning is that it isn’t mainstream Western porn people are watching but really weird desi shit, like “Kerala aunty porn”, “Bhojpuri bhabhi porn” etc 🤮 Even the media has published articles on this weird obsession among Indians.

How do I ask for an internship with a specific team because of my previous experience? And for 2nd internship
HSF- 2
Of course you will need to disclose previous applications or they will check themselves and it will be a black mark if you have been rejected once already - you have to show some significant improvement in the interim.
It might be a better idea to apply to 50% of the firms now and 50% after 1-2 years or whatever
It doesn't matter. You just need to apply to things and keep on keeping on. Grades isn't the final indicator of competence. You can always improve and get ahead.
1. Best high-budget watch brand for show-off
2. Best mid-budget watch brand: not for show-off but shouldn't make me look cheap either.
3. Best high-budget shoe brand for show-off
4. Best mid-budget shoe brand without making me look cheap
5. Generally speaking, which brands impress girls?
