Took a short break to recover mentally.
Have started job hunting again now - definitely difficult but have given a few interview now - lets see how it goes.
What I'd like to know, is which offer should I ideally take? I've been told that the litigation scenario in Delhi is what I should prefer. Is that right, other than the obvious presence of the SC and tribunals? How's the arbitration scene in these two cities? Is commercial lit. better in one city over the other? I have a preference towards commercial lit. work and both the teams have decent work in this. I am not wholly sure of what to do?
I was hoping to get some answers here, that might help me take a calculated decision.
Thank you for your answers!
Kindly tell, much needed insight.
My question is only restricted to the following subject
- The Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department JSD calls for the dismantling of the HR&CE Ministry. As someone from Tamil Nadu, it’s widely known (and substantiated by facts) that the government, on many instances, has diverted funds from temples and redirected it towards construction of shopping malls and complexes. TN Ruling Party members routinely brag about how many temples they’ve called for the demolition of.
In essence, there is blatant disregard for temples or anything to do with Hinduism, here in TN by the government. All of you would be aware of the Sanatana Dharma row, with the Chief Minister’s son calling for its eradication and comparing it to the likes of malaria and dengue.
Therefore, to me, his arguments regarding why HR & CE should be dismantled make sense. Not only is there massive appropriation and misuse of funds, it’s also exclusionary (not sure if this is the right term) that only temples are monitored by the state government.
I would like to know if his arguments hold water regarding the dismantling of the ministry. Are there any counter-arguments to this, from a general as well as a legal perspective?
On a related note: DMK routinely makes headlines in national newspapers for standing up against the Union government. It’s crazy how much of a publicity stunt their defiance is. The party is completely corrupt and hollow to the core. They have ties to drug mafia (Jaffer Sadiq), illegal river sand (4000+ cr. worth illegally mined in the past 2 years), bribery in infrastructure contracts and SO MUCH MORE. Even their criticism of how unconstitutional EB is completely hollow, considering how much money they received from the Lottery King! It’s such a pity that we don’t have a strong, united opposition to DMK in TN.
If someone supports Modi, let them. If someone supports Rahul, let them. Stop basing your whole life on politics!!!

They also regularly give their employees movie tickets, spa coupons, free entry at nightclubs, gift vouchers etc.
Now tell me which law firm offers these?
You need a separate approval from UGC to run distance education courses. It doesn't matter whether they are run directly by the univ or in a partnership. NUJS never had these approvals. Nor did it ever make the necessary applications before UGC.
But NKC will do all that now. Starting with higest NAAC scores for stating BscLLB and Msc Forensic Sciences. Then distance education approvals.

Similar rules apply for institutions that have achieved the highest NAAC ratings.
So I tried to correct people who are against Savarkar's ideology but go back slurs which are usually used against RW in India.
Why so much hate against him considering he is not as same as portrayed by left nowadays?
People who act as open to all ideology suddently act dumb when confronted with facts.
This is virtue signalling to what end exactly? Having different opinions- however offensive to you- is not in itself a moral failing one needs to be accountable for anyway. And most of us realise that young people often have strongly held views that they might change over their lifetimes. Thats partly why we go to university- to learn from and challenge each other. This kid never will have the opportunity to learn. But one day soon you will lookback on this post and be filled with shame.
what sort of horrible logic is this?
Millenials invented ALL of the stuff youre claiming. Post pandemic Genz hasnt invented anything except pronouns and labels and hundreds of new ways to claim oppression.
Go for Lloyd
2. They tricked interns into assessments which are unpaid and then said there's no assessment
3. They barely do any work compared to the big weights or even tier 2s
4. Tricky HR
Yes, I won't deny that the French army was used for all sorts of immoral conquests, although the keyword being "past." If we are to judge nations by similar yardsticks, then India too has its fair share of crimes on its plate. Besides, it's not that the current-day French Army is actively colonising other nations.
I don't view China and Pakistan in good regards, and I don't get your triggered 'anti-SJW' comment about the US military, when they're undoubtedly the strongest in the world. Maybe social justice and military might can go together, have you considered that?
I am ambivalent to any form of nationalism or patriotism. I care about the well-being of myself and people whom I value over literally anything else. It doesn't mean I would harm anyone to get what I want, but I am always free not to care. Also, so-called Tier-1 law student, try looking up the definition of treason, instead of throwing it around like a buzzword. You're no one to tell me what I deserve or not deserve. You too will most likely sell your soul to an exploitative law firm to make money. We are all free to take our own life decisions.
And DM it to Randomsena on Twitter. Those guy will highlight it till action is taken. But underline the parts which demean Lord Ram.
And where do you come to the conclusion that Hitler has been compared with Shree Ram? Are you really that stupid?
Seriously?
Have this guy compared Hitler with Ram? Is that your interpretation? Alas! What kind of lawyers we are making
we have been taught by our religion to be righteous, tolerant and maintain peace.
if this isn’t the path we follow soon we will go backwards, after religion it will come to caste, and then gender.
his argument is completely valid, educational institutes should not play any religious songs, especially a provocative song like this which goes against the ideas this country is build upon.
The more I hear the mosquito-whine of the left-liberals, the more money I donate to BJP and to RSS, the more support I give to my local Hindu youth groups, and the more we all band together to go and vote ourselves a government that represents us, and not foreigners and invaders and colonists. Such beautiful times we live in. Sucks to be a weak, whiny liberal for sure.
This is a Hindu majority country, if Hindus want to shout Ram Ram from the top of their lungs, none of yalls opinion matter. Esp if we have to listen an unpleasant din from a loudspeaker everyday from the minority.
If fee not an issue go for Jindal. Prefer Symbiosis Pune after that.
That's better than half of NLUs. Never drop a year. All the best.
Do you underline as you read the text and read through whole section and then jot down points in a separate notebook ?
What is your preferred way and what would you suggest ?

French foreign legion has shit pay. Indian army on a PPP basis pays far more to officers. Best part is you get a very valuable French and EU citizenship.
I work at a T2 boutique in Mumbai which is famous for being a female driven firm (i think we have like 83% women staff or something). We have 4 partners, 3 of them are women. These 3 women have made life hell for everyone, the non-stop shouting and yelling at every little thing, their random whimsical nature, that mean girl attitude, honestly it's very difficult to stick around here, no wonder we have such a great attrition rate. I have worked with male seniors too in my previous firms but comparatively they're way more relaxed and easy to work with.
PS - I'm a neet aspirant
Mostly from influential families, good contacts and meritless placements?
I know that law firm jobs run on transactions and they are cyclical or seasonal (as in sometimes you may not have work other times you have a lot of work) but is it impossible to have a firm wherein you have not more than 8-10 hours of work every year. In U.S. and U.K. as well, law firms are known to have long work hours compared to average work hours. Why so? Why does a law firm with decent work hours not survive long (Pay, clients would prefer those firms who get things done faster or are there other reasons.)
I checked the requirements for the Foreign Legion, it's off limit for me as they take in only males.
