1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

Jab tak soyi hui janta rahegi tab tak modi pm rahega! Or after ram mandir inauguration, he has become more strong!
A0 - 15.6 (1.30pm) + 1.5 = 17.1
A1 - 17.4 (1.45pm) + 4 = 21.4
A2 - 21 (1.75pm) + 7.5 = 28.5
A3 - 26.8 (2.15pm) + 10 = 36.8
Can someone please confirm A2 & A3 bands?
moreover, llm even in corp law has little value in corp practice, but if you want to have your cv stand out fron the crowd then a foreign llm is not a bad option if you can afford to spend that kind of money
with this course you get london exposure and two degrees
at an affordable price, instead of paying Β£25k you just pay Β£12k
Also you mean to say that KCO A3 pay is 25.8L (so that would be 20L fixed + 6L bonus)
I know young people throughout history have thought they were counter culture revolutionaries sticking it to the man by drinking themselves into a stupor and losing braincells to weed- but let me spare you the illusion. Youre not counter culture revolutionaries. Revolutionaries stand for something other than hedonistic consumerism. This isnt moral policing as much as actually recognising alcoholism and substance abuse for the health care crises that they are. You dont get another body in this life time. One is all you get- and substance abuse harms that body and that mind. Its just a fact.
And if you do want "maximum freedom", perhaps you should spend your own damn money on all of this instead of lying to your parents and your school. Cause those are the people who suffer when you turn up dead.
Fresher (upto 9 months)
A0 - next 12 months
A1 - onwards
Or something different
The objective of electing people is to elect the best among the population, not just elect the most popular or the one with the most votes. Even Hitler got 40% of the votes.
So, if the only reason people can provide as to why a General caste person cannot be making laws or run India is because they do not have the numbers, then that reasoning is flawed.
-SA2 at KCO
try shifting to South Africa, which has equity based capitalism - the dream country of woke liberals - where resources are redistributed based on race
How about that
but they want caste reservation in law firm jobs π
sums up the hypocrisy of modern campus liberals - in shockingly full display thanks to the cloak of anonymity on this forum
fuelled a little by moderators who also subscribe to the same ideology
Slow clap!!
- 100% job reservation in all government jobs except the IFS, the army, DRDO/ISRO and faculty jobs at Institutes of National Importance/Top 10 NIRF colleges --- SC/ST/OBCs welcome to join the exempted places but only on merit.
- 100% student reservation in all government colleges, except Institutes of National Importance/Top 10 NIRF colleges --- SC/ST/OBCs welcome to join the exempted places but only on merit.
- 0% job reservation in the private sector and 0% student reservation in private colleges --- SC/ST/OBCs welcome to join but only on merit.
Cumulatively, the number of reserved jobs and education seats under this formula will actually be a LOT higher than those at present.
What say, guys?
Can people please confirm for different levels.
You can interact and socialise as much or as little as you like.
As far as projects are concerned you don't need to sit in a library till midnight. Work smart, get the resources photocopied and leave.
You are there for 5 years. You will eventually get sick of these people and perhaps them you.
Living nearby. Having a nice bed to go to sleep in and clean toilets without the rubbish of dealing with toxic people is a luxury.
Some people want to stay in the hostels. That's fine. But different people can want different things.
I would choose a nearby flat in Chandralayout over a cubicle in Ganga Hostel, and I did for the final years of my time there. But that's just me.
Such a shame if the boys made him play despite the head injury.
What is right wing tort law or banking law?
It doesn't fucking matter.
1. Gen Y vs Gen Z
2. Conservatives vs liberals
3. Merit list students v Reserved list students
That had me wondering; For people in their profession of more than a decade or so, do you guys still refer to other areas outside of your specialisation? Or are you going deeper into your own. Example, if you practice corporate law, are you up-to-date with say criminal or constitutional law ? Have you looked back at subjects you didn't take after college ?
GC
A1
5.5L
I had heard rumours of it shutting down or something.
Senior told me A2 to A3 hike is some 60k per month, apparently marginally better in fixed than 3L.
1. CCI case orders research;
2. Sector overview of merger notices (i.e., research + drafting, just like a college project);
3. Using excel to calculate data; and
4. Review of investigation reports to find out specific stuff.
HK really wants to stop the talent drain to TL.
So is there any hope this time that Modi will appoint someone to the post with some merit and top-level experience? For example, Pinky Anand, Mahesh Jethmalani or Vikramjit Banerjee? Or will it be the same pool of jokers he will look towards? One name doing the rounds is Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay, who has got an easy Lok Sabha seat and is expected to win. But he is unlikely to enact any reforms and will merely use the Law Ministry to expedite corruption cases against the TMC.
When and where I should make the next switch? Please help
- Placements are good if you stay in the top 30 to 50 of the batch.
- Lots of opportunities to go abroad on exchange and guidance on doing postgrad abroad (many alumni are settled abroad)
- Good teachers
- Your batchmates will be children of the rich and famous in India: great chance to make influential friends for life
Cons:
- Placements are not good for average or low rankers.
- Excessive partying and drugs culture: you may not like it if you are not into that
- Many non-serious students from rich families, some are bratty and thuggish
- The university is expanding like crazy and soon the medical, dentistry and engineering schools will outstrip law in funding and importance.
So, I feel the answer is simple: give maximum freedom to students and expect them exercise it responsibly. Sensitise students to use taxis instead of driving their car if they are going out drinking.
