Did we have any nujs.edu email ID in 2008? I do not remember. Even CRC had gmail id.
I want a Netflix documentary Desi Bling / Indian Matchmaking lines about these lawyers and the 3 journalists.
Why do you want to move ?? I mean tax is considered one of the most lucrative field monetary wise and tax litigation is very lucrative in general??
Why is the new CEO at Tri sacking poor admin staff ▮▮▮ ▮▮▮?
that one guy on LinkedIn has a dream legal career that I didn't even think was possible. yes it's the one who is always at parties and dines with important people in delhi
70 lakhs for an education from a university that doesn't even have an alumni cause the first batch is going on is outrageous.
Whats happening? Is he taking his full team? So a large book leaves JSA. What happens now?
JSA Sr. Partner. Amit Kapur. Looks like they managed to hook him in. Or maybe he wanted a place to retire from after making some more money. Comedy of errors lies ahead for sure.
Bhai meri na baat sunn. MAT KAR LAW. Kuchh bhi or kar le, MBA kar le dhang se usmein better off rahega.
I think you lose out on the Drive storage and other Google Workspace benefits, but should have the email itself. I've mailed people from BO11 on their NUJS emails and they've responded so I think it remains.
Yes. Building a career is very difficult with AI now especially in the lower rung of the ladder. People will come at me but the competition will be far more intense than it already is for even less spaces. In any case our profession isn’t known for mental health! (:
Raunaq Bahadur Mathur. She has built a stellar reputation in a remarkably short period of time, and, reportedly, has just gone independent.
They had specifically mentioned this in eligibility criteria that the student should studying in National law Universities in India.
Has JS been asked to set up the Delhi TMT practise? any insight? how is TV's new team?

Any idea whether they have any Delhi/GGN presence?
Just trying to get a basic sense of how people here generally fared.
Amit Kapur from JSA is taking over as the head of Delhi office and the national head of Litigation
Once at a dinner party, I saw him take out his phone and dial the number of a (then) sitting SC judge - just to prove a point/get confirmation on an ongoing discussion. How does he get this kind of access-AND WHY??
In wish they had given this job to a good lateral entrant and then made that person contest from the vacant Nandigram seat. Options could have been many. Som Mandal and Vikramjeet Banerji among seniors. Lokenath Chatterjee and Milind Mohul Ghosh among NLU alumni.
Secured an internship at wadia ghandy and co.'s litigation team in delhi. Would be glad to gain some insights into the work profile, learning curve, environment, past internship experiences etc
He's a first generation lawyer who got there with nothing but hard work. No silver spoons were harmed in the process.
7 draft ek saath khol rkhe hai, socha legallyindia dekh leta hu, aur yaha ye
How's the work environment, culture and hours? Do Assem and Aastha have different teams?
is it still working, i mean do you still get email and the unlimited google drive space along with it still works?
CAM HR???? didnt know an excel prompt to filter my GPA has an identity to type on legally india
True. But alternatively he could try to get ABVP to infiltrate NUJS to counter the overwhelmingly pro-Congress/TMC ecosystem.
NUJS kids when a cat enters the campus: post on legally india

NUJS kids when they can't find a washroom on campus: ask on legallyindia
The initial post mentioned that law graduates with less than 2 years of pqe can also apply? Recent email says eligibility is 2026 grads. Also the JD doesn't mention the pay scale as such?
He is not the new cabinet law minister, but the minister of state for the law department.
Can he attend EC meetings though? The ex-officio post is that of Law Minister and the CM seems to be keeping that portfolio for himself as of now.
You meant you graduated in 2008? There was no institutional ID provided back then.
Please tell me if I want to do assessment in Phoenix Legal Delhi, and target a partner or team, that has good turnaround, so that I can convert the assessment internship.
CKN law is good, although the senior can be tough at times. Pay ranges from 25-40 I’ve heard.
..... a particular ▮▮▮who comes to every legal event with his own camera guy .... Hob nobs with everyone and shows that he is a big cheese. Cringe!
Ohh and can you T1 lawyers argue in a court independent of a senior ? Just stick to making the briefing notes 🤣
Indeed. If the author has courage, they should speak against the atrocities committed by their own institution (JGU/JGLS) against fellow faculty members and students from minority background (women/transpersons/dalits/muslims/critical scholars).
Attractive girls don't need apps to meet/ find guys to date. It'll be all dudes. Don't waste your time and money.
Only with very good reference (assuming you ace the interviews) with experience deduction, nothing on merit.
Exactly, this has nothing to do with gender. Also she really has done nothing for the comp regime in this country.
I mean if Buch has to be clarified the readers, then that is not the target audience for this post
And now that we are on this topic, may I ask how these self styled journos who are running one Instagram page and maybe one LinkedIn account seen as the “media partner” for premier legal events? How does this make any sense?
Nothing guarantees selection other than connections. An LLM with connections gets you a job over a PhD with zero connections.
Absolutely. Also, a PhD doesn't guarantee you a job since the vacancies are so low that for cost cutting the university is willing to let 1 asst professor teach 5 subjects rather than recruit 5 expert for each. That's why even after the PhD be prepared to face unemployment.
For future lawyers, especially law students, pivot to MBA immediately after you complete your degree. AI is already gonna cut your work and workers by 50-60%. The top brass will definitely cost cut, especially with legal.
Worry more about your internship, coursework, connections and job. You're single now, and 3/5 years later you'd end up single AND unemployed.
Not a notification that it's harder, but considering it's completely not in line with PYPs, some sort of sample paper or ques at least. And yeah there's easily a way to say "to make our paper more rigorous, we've done this"
Don't take the risk - gmail has the option to transfer over all the data to another gmail account from your .ac.in mail
You are misinformed. AZB Disputes Mumbai is a great place to work and learn. Anything but toxic. AZB Disputes Delhi is an absolute meritocracy. You'll love it.
Aditya Jha's team at Tri does the best work in the market + learning is good.

Issues with being short tempered - but one can work around it.
funny how you guys are competing with NLS now. Markets change fate.
With how the hiring market is right now, take whatever job you can find and think of a switch later.
What do you mean 'nationalized'? That term refers to the conversion of private enterprises into public/state-run enterprises. Since none of the NLUs are private entities, there is no question of them being 'nationalized'.
The idea behind this of secularism started off so well, but then became a nonsense. Why don't we have a religion-neutral motto? Why take a motto from any religious book at all?
heyy , how many days after applying did the hr respond
1 year pqe wil good transactional and commercial exposure, choose quality of life over this shit, in-house folks with law firm experience, please guide, can I get a better job in house with at least control over time, no pointless long hours etc
I am already a fresher in law too right? It's not like I am getting a break in m&a and/or gen corp.
As of what was stated in their JD, it is 5.8 lpa which is really low as per my understanding. Also, the initial work location will be Trivandrum which does not make it a prudent choice for me to relocate just for that package for 6 months.
Are you for real? How does one figure out which 'niche' they like working in when they aren't even getting jobs in the first place or even assessment internships. People really are something these days.
This post reeks of jealousy. Please explain why major listed companies and foreign clients routinely approach T1s for business if the work product is sub standard
Looking to work with genuinely talented disputes lawyers based out of NCR/Mumbai who will not particularly coddle but give enough room to grow and learn good commercial/construction/energy arbitration. Pls drop some names.
Try karanjawala/S&A/Hammurabi&Solomon Partners for firms (other similarly placed boutiques based on your sector)

Try Bharat Chugh/Shrutanjay Bharadwaj for chambers
Wtf, genuinely thought it was a professional networking meetups. Bump on if anyone has any exp to share. (Also heard they are gonna go national with this) (ps not surprised given the reputation of founders)
Whats the work like? Have seen the team to be too lean and not much buzz about the work. Plz share any insight possible
Try to get assessment internship in boutiques/reputed chambers. Stick it out for couple years. And then go for t1.
Will it be hard for me to start dating..I am 19 and yes it's my first time as well..but it's also true that I am still single so is the nlu culture supportive or am I just gonna get exploited🥲
I feel Nikhil has the most interesting mandates. What kind of work does Jishnu Sanyal take up?
Not the former ▮▮▮ SA who bullied an intern for calling out a grammatical error.
What’s the pay for Anagram A2 for GC/M&A- PEVC in Mumbai?
Student of mid-tier NLU with good rank and acad and decent internships with 2 year gap. Need a job, Gen Corp or any other related team(B&F/Cap) would work. Any suggestions on how to get into the firm. Suggest some firms with vacancies
