Hello ,

I am an medical aspirant ( MBBS )

The main point of my letter is in the question that to have a NEET or not

The NEET Pattern would obviously curb malpractices , financial burden , stress , etc

But the recent order by Honourable Supreme Court of India has came as a blunder to the students.

The order should have been passed or implemented after or before 6months of the exam .

Almost many students have paid Thousands of rupees for varied exam, half of the exams have been completed

There have many discussions going in round in students related to issue many of them are just unable to digest it .

SC should be deciding on the matter with Center or MCI but also students should be taken into consideration since they are the major stakeholders

There have many solutions doubts suggestion rounding off in students circle like wise.

1.If SC wants to go on with its firmness then it should keep 24 July as the ultimate common exam because it would be unfair to many students who have done with NEET 1

  1. Implement NEET from 2017 and go on with current year exams

Every students have their planned their studies in response to the exam schedule

And saying two days before that AIPMT is the ultimate one is unfair because not everyone take it seriously

We seems to have loosened our grip on AIIMS CMC ,etc

Just two days before saying now AIPMT would account for 52000 seats rather than 3000 which was considered is unfair

Our situation is like a prey of a spider who is now trapped in the web

So SC came as a survivor but rather than helping it too got harmful to us

I would like to get the views forwards or been provided complex yet beneficial suggestion to all students .

Thanking You ,

Vinay Yadav

neet should be ordered this year but on 24th july for all students.
it would be injustice to hold two exam for one common test for two sets of people why should the othervlot get a three month grace time
and to resolve the problem of states the paper should also be ib their vernacular languages also.
and the thing that states are not getting enough time and syllabus are different. Then we all would agree that three months are more than enough for its prep. And It is not that the students preparing for neet has studied different things about some system of human and the state boards have studied about the rat or mouse instead of human.
the only thing is to understand the pattern and get practiced to it becoz matter is the same, and for this i think three months is enough.
and all have definitely studied 11th and 12thand the syllabus is changed.

so a common and fair exam should be conducted on 24 july for all the candidates. So that injustice is not done to the 1st phase students because two phase exam means
1. Less time given to phase one students
2.more time i.e. Almost three months given to other student
3.two different test taken by two different lot of students.
4.two test would not have equal standards, i.e. One would definitely be tougher than the other so why this injustice to one lot and an upliftment regardless to merit for the other lot

Mr. Dave & other learned judges in the bench should consider the following discrepancy in the decision :-
1) Earlier students were in a dilemma about their fate wrt NEET vs State vs Pvt due to sudden decision on 28.04.16. But now students are more or less reconciled with their fate.
2) Students may not be considering AIPMT the best option because of other options available. But now NEET seems to be the only major option.
3) Students given chance to appear in NEET -2 have additional time period for studying approx 2.5 months . This is additional since in may cases they already know the subject because of their probable exams in other pvt & state colleges.
4) Questins will be different in NEET 1 vs NEET 2. Hence a disparity in evaluation /assessment too.
4) MOREOVER WHAT IS THE HARM IN BRINGING ALL THE STUDENTS IN 01 PLATFORM BY ALLOWING FOR NEET-2 ?
Please consider as it is guided more by administrative reasons of holding the exams in larger scale rather than sentiments of students

1- its totally unfair to give a decision of neet at the last hours of aipmt as it only left medical aspirants into a state of confusion.

2- moreover ridiculuos decisions of supreme court that neet will b in 2 phases & 2nd phase exam for those students who haven't filled up the form for aipmt. it clearly shows that these students donot find themselves capable for all india medical exam (who donot even respect aipmt ). SC is ready to give such students a golden oppurtunity & a 3 months bonus time for preparation.

3- what about those sincere students who responsibly filled up aipmt ?

4- now SC is ready to give a second chance to students who left neet phase-1 or didn't attended it or left outside their exam centres as they were late, is this right ?
are those students "idiots" who sincerely came on 1st may even they were not physically well or they were having any medical ailment just to give their exam ?

5- whats the point of neet now when students filled up various forms. half of the universities have taken their respective exams. it doesn't benefited students in point of view of money or manpower.

GIVING SECOND CHANCE AGAIN & AGAIN TO THOSE WHO DONOT DESERVE THEM. IS IT CORRECT ???

Hon Chief Justice , I whole heartily respect your opinion on the whole issue, but differ on these: But there are few issues which needs to be addressed:(Few who are not aware of the minor details) Let us go back to the history of NEET Exam, in 2013 SC Chief Justice Hon Altamas Kabir quashed the NEET Exam, after it was held, Hon Justice Anil Dave reserves his descent and was passed by 2-1 Majority. Did the SC not Play with the children's future, who is accountable-the Highest court of the country?. Hon Chief Justice passed the order on the day of retiring, what was the compulsion or obligation to do so. Would anyone in the Corporate sector etc. be allowed to take a decision which would affect Lakhs of Children in India. Suddenly Hon Justice Anil Dave delivers a verdict 3 days (28th April 2016) before the AIPMT(1st May 2016) Exams that it would be equivalent to NEET ,and also says that the State CET can go ahead but for all other Premedical medical Exams. Then again after deliberation on 9th May says CET IS NOT valid. Whose lives it the Hon Justices of the Supreme court playing with 17 Year olds who have an aspiration in their lives. The Hon SC should be sensitive in handling cases pertaining to our next generation. Or else the youngsters will lose Respect for the Judiciary. As it is we are seeing the corrupt stories in various levels of the Judiciary regularly in the Papers.Judiciary cannot take over executive powers. As it has Limited knowledge about it. 1. Why do we have three different systems of education , State syllabus (Each state has it's own different syllabus),ICSC, CBSC ,when all our competitive exams are planned on CBSC Syllabus ?.Unless one integrates all the states on one platform CBSC Can we Talk about NEET For the Whole country. The Platform is uneven for that. They should have been wise to get all states and all stake holders on one common platform 2-3 years ago and then done this. 2. Why have education in vernacular language when all competitive Exams NEET etc are in English and further Medical education is in English currently in India. Unlike other countries like Germany /France/ China and other European and south American countries doctors can't even speak a sentence in English and learn medicine in their language. Go to France/ Germany and talk English they will force you to talk French/German.Abolish i as Medicine /dentistry is taught in English. 3.More than 3/4 of our Teachers are unable to teach C B S C Syllabus as they are not trained. Where does that lead to? 4.59% OF Seats are reserved for SC/ST/Backward class etc., Where is the question of merit, SC/ST/Backward Class who get 35% is competing with a General merit Student having 96%.So where is the question of merit over reservations? 5.70 % of Indian Population are in Rural areas, no access to and unable to afford Expensive coaching classes for NEET. where do they go? 6.Last year a deemed university called 10 ranked students and their parents and the bid started-1 Cr,1.05..1.25 Etc., Few parents ran away. How is one going to stop it? 7.Another case a student gets 50% Marks in PUC But fails in Maths -21 Marks,But gets into Medical College Paying 1.5 Crores. We have diluted our PUC System. We should go back to our old system of merit by PUC Rather than putting Children into confusion about multiple exams which the Supreme Court itself is confused about 8.Would one of you like to be treated by a SC/ST/BCM Doctor knowing fully well that he has acquired his Credentials due to Caste Creed etc.and not by merit. 9. It would be interesting to see if the Hon Judge who delivered the Verdict in haste and without ground realities would seek medical assistance from a SC/ST/BCM Doctor in their older days or rush to AIMS/Medanta/Fortis etc.Sitting in a glass house it is easy to throw stones at others, eventually it come back to you.Or else he would have a personal agenda??? 10. All Private/Deemed/Linguistic/Minority-SC does not ask how many Linguistic/Minority students admission were given every year=Statistics show less than 1 %, So how do they qualify. It also as each medical college like CMC Vellore /St Johns etc can draw their merit list what stpos them from staring with 20000 Rank to select their community. 11. This is the beginning of the new era of Corruption, at higher levels and Higher stakes, It cannot be eliminated unless you strictly go by merit. Each door we close there is always another few doors opening. 12. Finally about the fee structure ranges from Rs 9.50Lacs /Year to Rs 65000/Year, there again there is discrimination is that not corruption. The question of have's and have nots ? Why does the Hon Supreme court regulate this?? 13.51000 odd Medical Seats were vs 6.7 Lacs aspirants, how is the gap going to be bridged??? PPP Model easier said then Implemented. India has the lowest Doctor versus Population ratio, unlike other countries. 14. The way Medical education is going forward will meet the same fate as Once booming Nursing Colleges and now doomed and currently most engineering Colleges seats are not filled up,about 10000 seats alone in Karnataka. 15.Hon S C has Ruled that no entrance test for NRI Quotas -Firstly the parents/ Close relatives have taken the best education in India and gone to Greener pastures there by Causing Brain Drain, and their Children are not competent to get into Medical Colleges in the country of residence, and supreme court has reserved 15 % for such category,no where in the world without merit do they get into Professional Courses. That means to say that show your Money and colour and weight and one would get admission into medical college,I believe counting Machines are only to check, for counterfeit notes. Is this not corruption. 16.hon justice WILL RETIRE IN November 2016,then a new era will arise If anyone raises issues against the Hon Supreme court it is Contempt of Court.Well covered. I’m Sorry to differ with your opinion that corruption will be curtailed, But it would come up in a bigger way. Now it will two new Goddess Laksara a combination of Goddesses Lakshmi and Saraswathi, and Ambedsara a combination of 59% Reservation and Saraswathi, Words of wisdom are not practical in day to today life. All these point out to be a personal agenda rather than a logical decision. To whom is the Hon Supreme court Answerable ??? Hon Chief Justice It takes 3-5 Mins for a girl to be rapped and why 20 years for conviction. Our Judiciary is incompetent,Name a single Political person convicted after having committed crimes years ago, does this happen in any part of the world Let's make a difference in Common people’s lives.
