Well well...finally they've got a good Corp/PE partner. It will be easier for Alka to pass on the baton.

Virage - You'll have an acceptable 'rate' and they'll have a 'target'. No matter what the 'rate' they'll get to the 'target' ;)

Why are so many partners leaving NDA? Are they also fed up of the lock in?

Strange that Kian does not mention that Vandana Bharucha is the daughter-in-law of the managing partner, and wife of a Justin Bharucha, partner. So 5 Bharuchas in Bharucha & Partners! Blood indeed is thicker than everything else....

A) Vandana isn't "blood" B) she's one of the best corporate lawyers out there. So let's give credit where it's due.

Whilst nobody is indispensable, VP's replacements at AMSS had some big shoes to fill. She'd be a great addition to any firm. She also worked at AMSS for many years after the Bharucha split. I would say blood is not that relevant here. I am also naive sometimes though.
